I think John would have hated The Traveling Wilburys, especially if George postponed any sort of Beatles reunion because of the Wilburys. Still, he probably couldn't be as hateful in public as he would like to at first because not even John Lennon could be mean to Roy Orbison.

I disagree never underestimate the power of hate 😂 he would definitely hate on them publicly or at least make passive aggressive remarks. because how dare george cheat on us! “ that’s how I think john would feel”

That's why I said "at first" 😂. Roy is one of the few people John never said anything bad about so I like to think that John would hesitate a bit before attacking Roy's comeback.

But yeah, John definitely would think that George was cheating on the Beatles (and him) with the Wilburys (Dylan) even when he and Paul created their own bands first. And he would have hated seeing George so happy with another group, no doubt about it. George would probably assume again that John didn't like his writing
