Hi!! I’m Demi, I go primarily by she/they, but I’m ok if you use other pronouns. I speak Czech, English and a tiny bit of German.

I’m still fairly new when it comes to the rules of DND, so I might end up making mistakes. But that’s why I made this sideblog, to improve in making character sheets, learn the rules more and share my love for this series and D&D :D.

What to expect

I’d like to create homebrews for some mechanics, maybe a few spells or magic items. All will be tagged (show and type).

I’m not promising to make a character sheet for every single Hatchetfield character, but I’m planning on making sheets for at least the main characters of each show/NT episode (+ definitely characters from Cinderella's Castle).

Hi!!! I’m finally back and starting to work on blog again!!

Rn im still rewatching Nightmare time, slowly working on Sir Hop-a-lots sheet (with Crumb being next) and Warlock subclass inspired by LIB, but that’s still a looong way from being even remotely done

A little update: I have not given up on this blog and I really wanna continue with it, but I have just been busy with school, uni applications and all the fun stuff which comes with it and with life in general (I had my prom, some exams, family events, 2 wisdom teeth removals, …)

In the meantime I’m trying to put out some fun stuff and will probably do a few quick character sheets, as they take me much shorter time to make than the more homebrew-y things I’m working on rn

The Toybox || Magic Item

Wondrous Item, artifact

"As you lay your eyes on the golden yellow box, you notice it is decorated with a tiny maze pattern. It might just be your eyes deceiving you, but you could swear you saw little moving dots running inside this maze and, similarly, that the walls are moving. Ever moving and unescapable."

After being touched by a player, they must surpass a DC 17 Intelligence saving throw. On a failed roll, the player takes 5d10 Psychic damage. After that, the Dungeon Master also rolls 1d100 and determines what fate awaits the player.

1-25 = You are Frightened for the next 1 hour

26-50 = You are affected by the Banishment spell

51-75 = You are hit by an additional 3d4 of Radiant damage

76-100 = You lose all hit points and start rolling death saving throws, with already having 1 fail

On a success, the player takes 2d4 Psychic damage and gains the ability to cast Banishment. They can also use the Box as a Bag of Holding, as long as they look away when opening it.

Glasses of Paranoia || Magic Item

Wondrous Item, artifact

“These glasses shape-wise resemble older 3D glasses, but these are not made from paper and two thin plastic films, but from good old hard plastic. These glasses are bedazzled with who-knows-how-many purple rhinestones and feature purple translucent lenses. Overall, a spectacle to look at, but at the same time something about them makes you anxious…”

To use the Glasses of Paranoia, the player must first put them on and pass a DC 20 WIS saving throw. If they succeeded, they are now able to cast Blink and Dominate person, as long as they are wearing the glasses.

If they fail by 5 or less, they are Frightened for the next minute. If they fail by 6-10, they are affected by Dominate Person and under the command of Bliklotep.

If failed by 10 or more, the wearer has to start rolling death saving rolls, where 3 successes are counted as if the player rolled 6 on the initial roll. However, 3 fails will result in the character casting as one of The Sniggles (this change is permanent if the player dies while under this change, otherwise it can be reversed with Remove Curse).

SNIGGLE || Monster stats

Drowsy Town Resident. Sniggle is a loyal subject of one of the Lords in Black, and so, based on who they serve, they get corresponding spells.

This ability is rechargeable and recharges at 5-6. Each recharge accounts for only one of the two spells, so before the dice is rolled Sniggle must be decided which spell they want to get back.

Darkvision. Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.

ACTIONS

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 1d4 bludgeoning damage.

Pack Tactics. Sniggle has an advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of Sniggle's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Eldrich Blast. Sniggle can cast Eldritch Blast in addition to the rest of the spells granted by their master.

Hiii! I have finally reemerged a bit from the mountain of schoolwork and have had some time on my hands to work on this blog again!

So this Sunday, you can expect a post about the Sniggles and in the next two weeks, 2 posts about 2 items (one for Watcher World and one for Time Bastard, you can guess what it might be :D).

Like I said before, the learning and preparation for my finals and college entrance exams + all the usual school tests have been a lot, so another short hiatus is almost inevitable, but I will do my best to keep it somewhat alive here :).

I have been spending time w/ my family plus im once again drowning in school work, but I hope to make some sheets for the first few episodes of Nightmare time in January

Also if you already haven’t, Realm dnd has been a really fun listen and imo its pretty easy to get into even as a person, who doesn’t know much about dnd

Goo of Verse || Magic Item

Wondrous Item, artifact

"You see a sky colored blue goo-?? Truth be told, you’re not entirely sure what you’re looking at. One with a harsher choice of words would perhaps describe it as a gross shit, but for now, you’re gonna settle with just the word goo."

An alive character is affected by this item if:

Is directly touching it directly with skin for more than 3 minutes

Has consumed it (or it has got to their body in any other way - blood, saliva, vomit, etc.)

Is at least 50ft away from a bigger source (e.g. the meteorite)

When a character gets affected, it starts making DC 15 CON saving throws every turn in addition to being under the Irresistible dance spell, until the character becomes infected, dies, gets out of the range of this item or is healed with a healing spell (not a cantrip). Every time a character saves against the infected effect and remains in goo's range, the difficulty gets raised by +2.

If a character fails, they become infected (from now on, they use the infected character stats) and are now acting against their party and acquaintances.

What if your character dies:

If a character gets killed by another infected character while being under this effect, they also become infected and continue to be able to act as if they were alive. However, your creature type is now Undead (e.g. if someone were to cast Detect Evil and Good at you, you're not gonna show up as Humoid anymore).

If a character dies and was not killed by someone infected, and they aren't near a bigger source or it doesn't get into their body within 1 round since their death (e.g. someone shoves the goo in their mouth), they aren't under the goo's influence anymore. You are just a normal corpse, nothing to see here.

Infected characters || Monster stats

"Oh, welcome. Seems like The Apotheosis has finally come to you too :)."

-> STR DEX CON INT WIS CHA = 10

⤷ same as it was before being infected (commoner stats, aka all 10s, unless it was altered + selected character's lvl 0 or lvl 1 spell)

-> Speed: 30ft

-> AC: 14

->Base HP: 50 (if CON=10/11, add 1d4 for +1 /12 or 1 3CON and so on)

-> Expertise in Persuation (=> +3 + CHA modifier)

Hivemind. Able to cast Message while communicating with other infected characters (can't be used to talk to uninfected characters).

Facts and logic. Advantage against magical attacks.

ACTIONS

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 1d4 bludgeoning damage

Second Sense. The infected person magically reads the surface thoughts of one creature within 30 feet of it, if they have a line of sight. While the target is in range, the infected person can continue reading its thoughts, as long as the their concentration isn't broken (as if concentrating on a spell). While reading the target's mind, the infected person has advantage on Wisdom (Insight, Perception) and Charisma (Deception, Intimidation, and Persuasion) checks against the target.

Vicious Words. If the infected person maintains concentration on their target for at least 2 turns, they can cast Suggestion. If the target fails a DC 17 WIS saving throw, they get hit by 1d8 Psychic damage.

If the infected person maintains concentration on their target for at least 3 turns, they can suggest that their target wounds themselves for 1d8 slashing or piercing damage. The infected person adds 1d4 to their attack each following turn, if they keep their concentration (starting with their 4th turn).
