idont hate it or nothing but i disagree a bit with the characterisation of verity where hes like super obsessive and clingy to literally everyone he interacts with like how all the videos on him interacting with prior players usually go, i really like to think the specific way he acts in the main series was something that never happened before or after mob. verity is shown to be clearly aware of how it goes every single time, the player leaves him in some way from dying, just getting bored/scared whatever, but mob was the only one that didnt, and he almost looked like he was actually going to try, which he Did; he genuinely wanted to find a way to help verity even despite everything. but yeah i think verity Constantly being portrayed as possessive towards literally everyone he interacts with undermines him and mobs relationship that is very explicitly stated to be Very different from anything else veritys experienced before. he Knows and fully expects that everyone he meets will leave thats the whole reason why mob was such a surprise. i think hes a bit more closed off and realistic with his thinking than people think

#DONT GET ME WRONG i like that verity is a little creepy weirdo. i dont think thats wrong. but in mobs case it was just particularly personal #and genuine in a way that people seem to have like. all the time with verity
