Black Grapes

Less than two weeks before it retails the highly anticipated Air Jordan 5 Retro “Grape” on May 4 some seven years since it was last seen, Jordan Brand announces the release of an alternate version dubbed the “Black Grape.” Essentially turning what was white into a soft black nubuck, this retro drop still features the model’s signature icy blue outsole, ventilating side panels, oversized tongue and a transparent lace-lock. Although it’s not an original ‘90s colorway, the “Black Grape” is already shaping up to rival the OG “Grape” release going down next month. Confirmed for June 1 availability, Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 5 Retro "Black Grape" will retail for $160 USD.

Under Armour’s #DeAndreDunkFace T-Shirt + Instagram Contest (PHOTOS)

In celebration of the Dunk of the Year that Clippers big man DeAndre Jordan threw down over Pistons guard Brandon Knight the other night—and the accompanying “DeAndre Face”—Under Armour is immortalizing the moment with the above T-shirts and an Instagram contest.

UA is asking fans to send in their best impersonations of the face that DeAndre made after the play (if you haven’t seen the dunk and DJ’s reaction, here you go). All you have to do is upload a picture to Instagram and tag it #DeAndreDunkFace. Tuesday, UA will select one grand prize winner, who will receive a paid trip to Los Angeles for a Clippers game, a meet and greet with DeAndre and Under Armour gear.

Wiz Inks a Sneaker Deal.......

Taylor Gang General, Wiz Khalifa is known for his love for Chuck Taylors. It would only make sense that he would join the classic footwear company. He recently announced that he has signed a deal with Converse. And from the recent Converse ads with the famed rapper, it wouldn’t be a surprise that a signature model is already in the works.

No word of a concept yet, but maybe we’ll see some kind “under the influence” inspirations. Stay tuned to TSG for the latest updates.

As i sit here and listen to some old Wu-tang shit its like damn how my home town crew is one of the greatest groups ever assembled in hip hop. now i say my crew just like someone would if there from the same area as someone who made it good.
