No guys, you don’t know the insane amount of research I made to know how actually was the kitchen in the rental, to just end changing the color of the top cabinets because i felt they didn’t match the color palette of my silly drawing.

The purgatory of the March's lives and how Holland's apathy enables it is sooo well done it makes me sick. He doesn't care. He doesn't care because he can't care. He doesn't care because he's drunk and scared and numb. And he's leaving Holly to fend for herself and he's only there at the table with her because bring homeless or dead would require effort. And Holly is scared, and she's pushing and pulling and trying to do something but at the end of the day she still looks to him for advice, for an example, and she reads to ghosts in the empty lot because she cares too much to leave it behind but the only thing her father has taught her is that the future is a scary place and the present is unbearable. Someone will clean out the pool someday and until then we can keep throwing cigarettes down. Yes, I'm a bad person, but there's food on the table isn't there?
