as for mr aaron hotchner it’s definitely a possibly because I THINK thomas said he wants to come back, but that’s up to the writers/producers so idk

i DEFINITELY see shemar moore coming back i can literally taste it

i don’t see jeid going anywhere, but i feel like the writers are gonna pull off some fucked up shit...like either kill off will or just do some weird ass scene that lacks the romantic chemistry

3am thoughts

ok hear me out, again

i can’t stop thinking about how jj deserves so much better from the writers, her and all the other characters had all the potential to be better characters, but the show only focused on the unsubs and victims & the writers were sooo inconsistent with the storylines regarding the bau

(forget what happened behind the scenes, just hear me out. ALSO i put no effort in this so if it’s stupid or inaccurate pls disregard)

the tim curry case right??? it really didn’t end well for the bau, completely ruining their reputation. because of this, jj has to deal with the public and shit because of her acting as a hostage negotiator, and she gets extremely overwhelmed. i mean yes, that’s part of the job, but the comments towards the bau affects her the most because most of the comments belonged to her. the comments were mainly about her handling the situation, her being a mother, etc. while the rest of the team have their comments, they know they can do better. hotch is not affected but he tries to convince jj that it was his fault, that he shouldn’t have told her, but jj knew she shouldn’t have done it, she was doubtful, but she still agreed to hotch. the team continues with some cases, but jj can’t help but think about that one case. she thinks about the comments, especially the nasty ones about her and her family. hotch saw that she was down, and recommends that she should take a break. when she does take a break, however, she realized that she felt better staying home with her family, so she left the bau (s6, ep2) the team was devastated, but they knew it was the best for her to heal and recover.

(had to write this in the morning because i was tired LMAO) the team eventually get their reputation back, and the team wants jj back because penelope hated being a liaison. a text conversation between jj and rossi about coming back: jj feels like she won't be taken seriously anymore as a liaison and rossi considers that she should take profiling classes. she starts taking profiling classes and she does great!!! she becomes a profiler because she wants to be more remembered as the hero rather than the communicator. as seen in s7, she finds herself stronger as a profiler learning from her past

now im not sure how this will tie to afghanistan + the pentagon, which are both extremely streches imo especially the 200 storyline, but i could make a whole post just talking about that, OR i can just make a whole post rewriting jj's arc (also jemily 😏)

but yeah that's it 😳 stay tuned for the next time i decide to stay up til 3am

the fact that they had a list of unresolved storylines to choose from and they chose jeid...LIKE HELLO????? we could’ve gotten a great arc if they brought back the dilaudid storyline like HEAR ME OUT

first of all, who knows if spencer was serious when he said “what if i started taking dilaudid again” in s7 BUT IF HE DID???? dude :(

so in s13, after he gets reinstated, spencer is just NOT FEELING WELL INTERNALLY despite getting his mother and team back

his fear of losing his loved ones has escalated into an all time HIGH (leading to excessive anxiety and stress) and is dealing with an identity crisis because he’s evolved into this new person. knowing he’s afraid of change, spencer feels like he lost himself completely, SO he goes back to dilaudid so he could have hallucinations again and feel like a person again

he knows it’s wrong but he thinks it’s beneficial for him despite the side effects. when he relapses for the first time, he feels extremely guilty but as the stress and anxiety increases, he becomes addicted

the team finds out and they have a talk. spencer is confused on their concern and the team just wants to help. when spencer breaks, he expresses that he was too late to realize that he should stop

later, spencer gets another break from the bau so he could go to rehab. although he relapses a few times, he gets through it and eventually recovers. each one of his friends visit him to make sure he’s ok and spencer is the most grateful for his friends or family. spencer also writes letters to his mother again and would read his past letters. jj would give him a photo album because she saw the one he had when they visited his apartment in s12. the team has a small gathering when he’s at least a few weeks or a few months clean (with no alcohol OF COURSE)

the storyline concludes in him in coming to terms with who he is, because the right people will love them no matter what. other than feeling more confident in his work, he feels comfortable with his “quirks” and the team finally fucking learns to listen to his rambles (i HATE it when they cut him off at unreasonable times, it was mean imo) because they realize how excited he gets from talking about something he’s passionate about (ok but they’re profilers, how would they NOT know). this also results in him finding out that change from within can be good! because of this he develops as a character and spencer reid feels like he has never been better
