A new literary roleplay group based on Hugo’s novel

A cross-platform, multi-media roleplay using (amongst others) Tumblr, WhatsApp and IMVU to create our characters

Open to new fans and old, based on the 1862 canon work and not the musical. We’re extremely excited for the upcoming BBC adaptation and may use it as an influence on our creations.

Set within the canon, not fanon (fan-canon) and open to new and exciting interpretation with period politics and history as our main driving force

If you’re new to Les Miserables and/or roleplay you’re more than welcome, and it’s a safe space for LGBTQ+

“Be excellent to each other” is our first and foremost rule, alongside the more generic “don’t be a dick” et al. Check our blog for more information!

Meetings at Cafe Musain will be held at 11pm-1am (GMT) [day to be decided] on IMVU and roleplay will be ongoing throughout on WhatsApp * Enjolras and Grantaire are now claimed

Enjolras and Grantaire as Achilles and Patroclus

“Some men are born to be the verso, the reverse, the wrong side. They are…Patroclus…” (p.554) Enjolras and Grantaire are both compared to famous homosexual lovers in Ancient Greece. I decided to draw them as the famous pair. I based it on this bowl.
