Meanwhile Clark is wondering how in the hey bales did he get here, collar around his neck following Mr.Wayne like the lost puppy he is, the one thing that he could think of was to never tell Bruce that he would do ANYTHING for a private interview again. Bright red, flustered, and in disbelief at the fact that he was being paraded around like an award winning cattle, the mild mannered reporter shuffles into the elevator.
Bruce is lucky that keeping a straight face as Batman translated to keeping an innocent smile on his face as he waited in the elevator. He canāt believe the one time that he takes Dicks advice to āGo hang out with your friends B!ā ended up with everyone in the justice league wasted playing truth or dare.
Batmanās dare, because he would never say truth, was to āgo up to everyone in their cives and make them do the most embarrassing thing without being caughtā -a dare given to him by a drunk and irate Green Lantern who was tired of Batman lording over his knowledge of their identityās, seemingly thinking Batman was lying. Well itās a shame for him that Batman does most things out of spite and the need to win.
Bruce had never been more thankful for his reputation as an airhead billionaire before. He can and has gotten away with so many things, but this takes the cake. When Clark Kent said he would do anything for an interview- well it would be a shame to let that opportunity slip by.
A few small lies about how he was ābooked up for months-ā and that he had āan opening during being your pet to work day-ā but he wasnāt planning on going since he doesnāt have any suitable pets to bring and that āas the CEO I feel like I should participate in every event that takes place in WE or not show up at all!ā and he got himself Clark Kent AKA Superman walking on leash to his office.
Well he did say he would give an private interview- and he will keep his word- but maybe he can give the reporter an extra treat for being such a good boy~
