Growing up beaten in the same fashion this guy experienced, this really hit home. It’s not my mothers fault she beat me. She didn’t know any better. Knowing my grandmother(RIP) , I understand my moms didn’t know any better. I never beat my kid, tho lawdy!!! Sometimes I wanted to, lol but no! There’s better ways and I’m glad I got to break the cycle. Still suffering from my up bringing in a broken home but it could’ve been far more worse. Powerful video got me all in my feels.

I believe in spanking. Must make sure to not cross the line into abuse. Also, every form of punishment isn’t a good fit for every child. As a parent it’s important to learn what discipline method will be most effective for your kid. Cause I know many adults beaten with extension cords who did not walk away with this mindset and are emotionally stable.
