Ad blocking/reporting should have some sort of an "I never want to see this fucking ad again and if you fail me and show it to me again I will track down where you live and fucking kill you" option.

you used to be able to get a job just by circling a listing in a newspaper in red pen
the transition im crying
I am walking onto the field. Haters are forcefully removing me from the premise
Nothing funnier than having a 20 minute crashout about how much you hate your job and then continuing with your day. I hope hunter-gatherers did this midway through tracking their lunch.
The year is 2032. All sexual content has been banned from the internet. The only way to legally jack off is now by purchasing the Marvel Rivals battlepass
some of you werenât around for the fan fiction dot net purge of 2002 (when they banned explicit content and mass-deleted thousands of fics) and the livejournal purge of 2007 (when they deleted hundreds of blogs, disproportionately targeting queer & kink content) and it shows
this kind of policing is why ao3 was created
remember, kids, the three laws of fandom are:
- donât like; donât read
- your kink is not my kink
- ship and let ship
Honestly if you say or do something strange, an employee probably WILL tell all their coworkers about it all day, however theyâll basically never remember it was you specifically and instead just a faceless âcustomerâ amalgamation of every time someone said something to them. Plus youâre giving them enrichment and something to mutually bond over. So really youâre doing an important service by being a little awkward.
i cannot blame cats for using their fangs to put perfect little stapler holes in cardboard bc if i had such fangs you bet your ass id be doing that too
Make a mans whole retirement here why don't you
I have, like .... seventeen uses for this. Where do I get one?
Didn't even know this post was moving till it hit my dash again, I put it in the replies too but it is called a "chompsaw" and it's by Chompshop
They've got all kinds of patterns and such on their site for different creative projects, it does appear to be limited to cutting cardboard so if you want to do wood you will need something beefier.
Yesterday, I was at dinner with some friends and briefly forgot Harrison Fordâs name, but I was like, âHis name is a president and a car,â which is how we got such acceptable alternatives as McKinley Camry, Van Buren Gremlin, Clinton Infinity, and Range Rover Cleveland.
Lincoln Lincoln
I think that part of what irks me about AI being used even for "small" stuff like meme graphics (aside from all the larger problems obviously) is like.... the time spent on it was part of the humor. "this is a silly inconsequential joke but I had to stop everything and spend 5 minutes making it" was, at least for me, part of the joke. Someone really took time out of their day to make me look at something silly they took time out of their day to make. Now it's like someone took time out of my day to make me look at something no one even made. Stop wasting my time if you aren't wasting yours too.
oh my god
they should invent a headache that goes away the second you drink any water at all
do u mind if i take up space
I think one of the gentlest things in the world is when a friend just gets your weird little brain. like you say half a sentence and they finish it. you reference something incredibly niche from seven years ago and theyâre already nodding. they understand your strange vocabulary for emotions that donât have real words yet. itâs being seen and known and still loved. maybe especially because youâre known. god. what a gift.
