Allow me to end the "Taro has no personality" debate once and for all

Taro hates violence and will run away if he witnesses murder but if he witnesses someone committing murder with a mask on he is so filled with rage at the killer's cowardice that he completely disregards his own safety, runs up to the killer, and rips the mask off. That is a canon feature currently in the game and if thats not metal and interesting as fuck then I dont know what is.

how does geiju do presentation projects if he talks exclusively in one or two words sentences and nobody knows why 👁👄👁

I mean this would be easy if he simply had some speech impediment but nobody actually knows if he does- (or maybe it’s between him, his family and the faculty? Who knows-) now I’m imagining him being like:

Geiju: Mitochondria. Power house.

Teacher: Elaborate more plea-

Geiju: no.

The only reason why the teacher allows him to do that still is because no matter what he always, ALWAYS gets the point clear and across and there is no further explanation required. (Or they may have a deal with him to where he must write everything on paper for the teacher, as an accommodation.)

God I checked yandev's patreon page and the money per month got nerfed I remember when it was like 5,000. I guess he got into one too many scandals.

Lmao completely forgot to document my thoughts as I played so here they are:

My overall feeling is some weird mix of excitement and disappointment. The demo has been hyped up for so long and yandev was constantly talking about how good it had to be before he released osana and it's just sorta underwhelming, especially for how long it took to get here. There's a lot of bugs and stuff too. Still, having osana in the game is awesome.

Speaking of Osana, she's pretty neat. It's nice seeing her interact with people other than senpai. She's a bit too harsh with senpai honestly, to the point that it's almost kinda toxic. It'd be nice if there was a bit more banter to it for both of them, so it'd feel less harsh. Her interactions with raiburu are pretty cute.

I've tried out a few elimination methods, and noticed that the game kind of tries to make it hard and easy for the player at the same time. Without raiburu things would mostly be incredibly easy. With the way the game is designed, you either walk around mostly clueless or you buy schemes and stalk osana. The schemes make things a bit too easy. If you just stalk osana everything is pretty blatantly said, like her interests and what she likes in a guy. It feels like she's a tutorial, and not a real challenging rival.

I hate that panty shots are still a thing in the game. It's just creepy. And the younger students are Underage. I don't care about the "all students are 18 even if said otherwise" thing, it makes no sense and it's just an excuse. It'd be cool if you could sell info-chan information that you could get by observing other students and talking with the bullies (they seem like they'd know some juicy stuff). There could be more places to set bugs. The bugs don't seem to accrue points over the days anymore, which sucks.

The town is really neat, I just wish more of the stuff in it was actually in the game. The maid cafe minigame is fun and cute but kind of hard. The panty mechanic and shop is still creepy and I think it should be replaced with different accessories for each buff. (Like bracelets for example) the other shops are cool, I wish they were all completely functional. It's super cute that oka and the rainbow six appear!

And finally, my last coherent thought: there was a lot of "oh if you don't give me money (donate to the crowdfunding campaign) I won't add these cool features that have been promised or wanted for years so donate please give me money" for example, the female senpai button has been in the game for literal years and apparently she will only come if dev gets enough money. I know it's probably because the demo was free, but he still has his patreon money and merch money. I'm glad the demo was free, because it was what we deserved after literal years of delaying.
