I can do it. I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself. I can lead. I can make sound financial decisions, build spreadsheets galore. Live from a place of calm wisdom and deep knowledge. I’ve been doing it for the better part of 50 years.
But I would love being led. I love having someone care for me and let me serve them. I love having a partner who wants me to grow and encourages that.

For years society has said this is wrong and have attacked girls for wanting this; however, there are more of her out there than society/feminists wants to admit. Look at the explosion of submissive and trad wife sites and blogs.
It’s ok to admit this. you are not the only one. If you decide to come forward and readily admit it, claim it, you will be celebrated and accepted into a wider community, one that knows no limit. So go ahead, be brave, admit what you need; otherwise, if you push those thoughts and feelings down, deny yourself then you will end up bitter, sad, and anxious, I promise you. So stand up, be courageous, be brave, claim it!
btw, speaking outside of kink, feminism is about being free to make a choice, and you can choose to be able to be both Independent and wanting to be cared and lead
I absolutely agree! The primary tenant of feminism is for a girl to chose and become whatever it is she wants to become. To what I was alluding is when a girl decides she wants to be dependent, taken care of, and led, then it’s those same people who champion feminism, attacks that girl for wanting to be dependent, submissive, taken care of and led.
BTW, I am not just taking about feminists here, but society in general. girls are socialized to reach for the stars, to become whatever it is you want. This theme runs throughout media, movies, television, in print. How many times has a girl been told they can be a CEO, an astronaut, president, etc, but then when a girl chooses to become a housewife, a porn actress, a gf, a sub either just in kink or as a lifestyle, then they are looked down upon, ostracized, talked about? Again, talking about society at large, then a girl faces scrutiny, either imagined or real. Then the pressure makes them feel guilt, shame, and/or less than. They are made to believe there is something wrong with them for wanting this.
I realize some of you are proud to be who you want to be! Congratulations, you are the strong ones and should be celebrated but there are others that do succumb to the pressure, the scrutiny; so, they deny themselves what they want. They may call it a fantasy or a guilty pleasure and come to tumblr and rub themselves silly and log off. That’s fine, and for some, that’s all it might be. I understand one can indulge in fantasy and just keep it at just that.
I was speaking to those who yearn for this, want this, need this, yet are too timid, shy, or worse yet, been told it was wrong and no self respecting girl would ever want that. To them I say If this is what you want and need, then follow it, there is nothing wrong with it! Do your research, find out what it is you truly want, and go after it because you can do and be whoever or whatever you want to be!
