(( THEY'RE REALLY CUTE. ))
Red eyes looked up to see the girl, his head tilted to the side now. He didn’t yet speak yet, but it looked like he wanted to. How could he describe her? Nervous? On Edge? Hum, he wasn’t entirely certain to be perfectly honest.
"Ah, hello to you as well, miss..?"
It hadn’t quite clicked with him yet, that this was his mother’s good friend.
Startled by his uncertainty, she takes a few steps backwards, staring at him. "I-I'm sorry, am I bothering you? I-I can leave if you want..." she murmurs shyly, averting her eyes to the ground. For some reason, Jenafer saw him as a quiet type, such as herself. However, unlike her want to be around people but not knowing how to socialise, she thought that he was quite the opposite, not wanting to be around company whatsoever.
"Yo!"
Light sparkled in the blond’s eyes upon seeing the girl who offered a hello. He approached with a goofy grin on his face, a hand on his hip. He offered a quick wave to the other.
"You must be Jenafer, yeah?"
Ah, so he's heard of her...? That's strange. Nonetheless, she nods her head in confirmation. "Yes, that's me. Who might you be? I don't think I've ever seen you around before."
"Ah!"
She smiled sincerely to the younger girl, giving a nod of acknowledgement as she leaned a bit forward to get a better look at Jenafer. Currently, they stand a few paces apart from one another. She doesn’t quite approach any further, worrying that, one she may make her feel at unease.
"Hello to you as well!"
Jenafer relaxes slightly, calmed by the other girl's friendliness. As long as someone presents themselves as kind, she finds herself at ease; it's only those that come off as rude that bothers her. Not to mention, she recalls seeing the other around at least a few times at school before she left, but she doesn't remember the other's name. "...Who are you? I'm Jenafer."
Seeing the girl a few steps away, Raine notes of her presence and smiles. She gives a wave to the newcomer, someone she doesn’t quite know. She recalled her mother talked of friends often in the past, but never gave detailed descriptions of what they looked like. “Hi there!”
"Who might you be?" she asks simply, blinking in curiosity. She didn't recall the Squad having this many members; then again, it's amazing what one misses having been gone for so long. "Oh, I'm sorry, how rude of me! My name is Jenafer, Jenafer Hawke. It's nice to meet you!"
Confusion was written all over his features as he stared at the girl - of whom seemed to be having quite the difficulty greeting him. But he wasn’t confused by that, oh no. More of that this was the Jenafer Hawke. “… You’re her. The one sister always speaks of.”
When he heard such things as what Artemis had told him (and trust him - Artemis had told him a lot), he had expected something… well, different.
That is to say, however, he was not disappointed.
"I can see why she likes you so much." He mused, floating forward to inspect her better. "I’m Apollonios, the God. But you can call me Apollo. I am Arte— Dian’s younger twin brother. She speaks often of you. Jenafer, right? You’re as she described you physically… as well as you match the photos I’ve seen. You have a rather amusing sleeping face, I ought to say— oh, what I not supposed to reveal that? Ahhh~ Well, my sister is quite fond of you in particular, really, so I guess it can’t be helped~”
"...Ehhh? Dian talks about me a lot?"
For some reason, Jenafer found herself finding that hard to comprehend. She understood that she and Dian were very close friends, what with being the partners-in-crime in the superhero lifestyle, Digital Bishounen and Magical Bishoujo, but she didn't think that she was that important to Dian for her to speak often about her! Not that she was displeased, no, it only made her feel even more flattered and grateful for having a friend such as Dian.
Jenafer's smile grows more genuine as the other introduces herself and she nods in response. "It's nice to meet you, Apollo! And yes, I am Jenafer, as you've said, but you can call me Jena if you want." An embarrassed flush spreads upon the girl's cheeks as she finds herself utterly flustered by him speaking about her sleeping face. Never before had anyone said anything about it, so for him to do so all of a sudden...!
"U-Uu...! Y-You mean she's s-shown you p-pictures of me s-sleeping too...!?"
A customer has arrived! It’s Jenafer Hawke! Hello, I will be your waiter today. What can I get you?
"Adarian, we have an order of buttered croissants and two cups of chamomile tea to table five! Got it? Alright…" The ravenet was consumed with his task of handing over orders to the table runners he almost didn’t catch her coming in!
His blue eyes darted to the door when he heard the familiar jingle from the bell attached to the door, “Welcome!” He called out, his usual smile that was required (though it was easy for him to always be smiling, honestly - it was more of a shock to see him not) seemed to brighten and grow just a bit when he noticed who came in.
"Jenafer!" He hopped over the counter with ease and rushed over, gaining a few whispers from the older women who were amused with how "precious" he was. "I’m glad to see y— oh, shoot. Uhm, for here or to go? And do you want the usual or something else today?" He asked, while simultaneously helping around. At one point, one of the waitresses tripped but he expertly both caught her and the plates - a trick he’d mastered after working here for so long, he really did love it here.
And though he seemed just normally energetic to the naked eye, he seemed way more full of life when Jenafer came by; working faster, doing more extravagant tricks, etc. Just all-around way more lively than usual. It was as if, subconsciously, he enjoyed impressing her just to see her smile or hear her laugh. He was oblivious to all around him, however, as not only did he have a bunch of female (and sometimes even male) fans here, but there were also rumours and bets circulating inside the cafe on when Dian would ask Jenafer out, though he did not completely know these feelings yet and insisted they were friends when teased.
"If you need anything, come to me first, okay?"
Jenafer can't help but let a smile come onto her lips at the boy's cheerfulness; she found it quite admirable and when she was around him, she couldn't help but feel happy as well. In fact, Dian was one of the two people that she could truly open up to and be herself with, Meghan being the other. Even though this Dian was an alternate version of the one she knew, she loved him all the same, not seeing him as an alternate version of Dian -- no, Diana -- but his own person. "I'm glad to see you-- Oh! Um, I think I'll change up for today. Surprise me, I trust your decisions."
The dark-skinned girl made her way towards an empty table, taking a seat and leaning on her arm as she watches the boy move about the café in amusement. He was such a proficient worker; no wonder he was quite popular with the customers. He was nice, friendly, and he had a genial aura that shined so brightly it couldn't help but make you smile. In all honesty, she was quite jealous of his popularity, how easy-going he was, how he could manage to captivate the hearts of everyone he came into contact with.
She doesn't let herself get side-tracked by all of Dian's good qualities, nodding in response at his offer. "Alright, will do! ...Mm, do you think I could get a pound cake with that coffee too, If it's not too much trouble for you? Thank you!" Jenafer sits upright, removing her head from her arm, and placing her hands neatly on the table as she continues to watch him.
"Oh! How's work been for you lately? Well, I hope?"

"..."
Breathe, Jena, breathe. You can do this, you've improved, you've gotten better. Assured by her words, she releases a sigh and lets a bright smile onto her lips as she tilts her head to the side. "H-Hello...!"
ROBOTS OR DINOSAURS?
"...Robots. Most definitely robots."
