like the fact that PrEP and PEP just kinda became a normal part of life one day without fanfare is something I think about a lot. Thousands of people died gruesome horrible deaths and now when I go on Reddit or ride the subway I see dinky little ads like "start this medication today so you don't contract/spread HIV! and if you get accidentally exposed there's a different medication for that to keep yourself from contracting!" and it's just an everyday thing. all those people who died fought for it to be this way.

being an open fat fetishist whilst also being a fat liberationist is so hard because i worry it makes people think I’m biased. am i the only one?

that was one of my biggest fears for years! I have a very large following, and the majority of people stuck with me because I was genuine to myself, and many folks even changed their minds about f33dists. I did lose a bit of support from the normie crowd, but I gained so much support from the f33dist community, and that made everything even more worthwhile to me. I still get the occasional comment saying “this is just a f3tish for you” to which I respond, okay… I’m also into queer guys, does that make my lgbtq activism just a f3tish too? just remind yourself how ridiculous people sound when they try to discredit you. fat liberation is important no matter who is doing the work. your openness about fat admiration/f33dism will help so many others see that they are normal and that they add value to this community, not the opposite.

you don’t need to explain yourself, but if it helps, you can point folks towards this overview so they can educate themselves on why we’re… *checks notes* not evil.
