Kid!Danny is prothasized (can't spell the world but it means to have a cool poem from someone who sees into the future in Greek mythology) to permanently changeghost civilization 50 yrs before he's born so the ancients have all ghosts on the look out for a powerful ghost.
When Danny is born, he ofc doesn't have ghost powers so he's left alone, but as time goes on, a rift starts to form at the Fenton house cause of the combo of ectoplasm+Danny
Cause Danny is foretold to destroy the infinite realms, it causes a chain reaction that let's the Fentons actually activate the portal (ig bby!danny visited Vlad and he left his aura or smtg idk)
When Danny becomes Phantom, ghosts realized it was too late so they go fight him (and fail lolz)
Just as they think the infinite realms is dooms to be destroyed, Danny just kinda beats the ghost kings ass and becomes king
Then all the ghost (minus clockman cuz he obviously didn't tell) are like 'ohhhhh he isn't gonna destroy the realms!!!'
