Do you believe in miracles??

So I started this blog to post my journey of studying. But I didn't continue it even for 2 weeks. I have given up on it and I accepted my defeat.

My exam started yesterday and my performance is mediocre at best.

Here comes the miracle... The exam got postponed for 3 days. That means I there are 5 days before my next exam.

You might think it's not a big thing. But the exam is a country-wide highly competitive exam. Their excuse to postpone the exam was the BAD WEATHER!! Fair,the weather is bad that some places have flooded. But I never expect them to postpone it.

This is my second chance so.... maybe I should do the right thing and study...

Day 11 & 12 , Relearning to Study

I started the day with a determination to have a productive day. And I sat down on my table with books open. The problem was my mind was not there. I was unable to focus on anything .

It was presidential election on 21st of september in Sri Lanka (my country ). The results only came on 22nd of september . The tension of the election was on my mind that I was not able to focus on anything other than upcoming results.

I was thinking ,maybe, I should restart the challenge and continue with DAY 01 again. But I decided against it because setbacks are part of the journey .

Setbacks are detours.

Not dead ends.

Adjust and continue.

Day 10, Relearning to Study

I am too used to escape the reality that I struggle with focusing. It's my comfort zone and I am somewhat reluctant to leave it.

But I want to. I am planning to practice mindfulness.

Whatever will be will be.

The future is not ours to see.

Don't worry, if it's supposed to happen, it will.

Day 09, Relearning to Study

I just want to go with the flow. But why is it this rough. I guess it's because I am still so close to the base.

She found herself letting go everything and just going the flow because she knows living in resistance can be painful.

Day 08 Relearning to study

My mind is a war zone between positive thoughts and negative thoughts. One time I feel like failing and at another time feel like I am winning. It's tiring when there are two contradicting thoughts are fighting inside your head.

I really hope it's just another phase and not a constant state.

And just like the autumn leaves, I will bloom after every fall.

Day 07, Relearning to Study

I started this challenge without believing in myself. I think now I have reasons to believe. Because I did study for 7 days. And I do think I can continue.

Success is a series of small wins.

Day 06 - Relearning to study

I did not realize how easy is it to forget why you start something. I FORGOT I started this journey because I wanted to improve. I forgot that my main goal is to study not post on social media everyday.

I was super excited to record my journey here, that I let excitement control me. I only studied 1 hr today. Even though it's not nothing, I feel disappointed.

I don't want to let this setback affect my journey to success. So, here I am hoping for a better tomorrow, again.

You just don't wake up. And become the butterfly. Growth is a process.

Day 05 - Relearning to study

When you start to do something and when you genuinely want to do something, no one can stop you. Not even you.

You will, of course, recognise that whispering voice in your head that tells you to quit. Don't give up! If you get past that voice you will be unstoppable.

Some flowers bloom at night when everyone is asleep.

Day 04 - Relearning to Study

The feeling of self confidence to know that you can achieve something is unexplainable.

It's hapoiness. It's a promise that everything will turn out good. It's something and it is everything.

Fear is a Phoenix. You can watch it burn a thousand times and it will still return.

Day- 03, RELEARNING TO STUDY

Studying feels less forced. And I have found some motivation too. I think I am finally heading towards the right path.

There are late bloomers

But there are no flowers that don't bloom.

Day - 02, Relearning to Study

Even though there's not much different from yesterday, I feel hopeful. I really feel like I can do this.

She was never ready.

But she was brave.

And universe listen to brave.
