" You humble me Your Highness with this gift. " Baynarah kept her gaze low in difference between their respective ranks as she took the gift in both hands. Once the imps brought the tea and accompaniment tray of sweets before leaving the pair alone in the lounge room.

" I hope the tea will be your liking Princess. It is a new brew from the Sloth Ring it is suppose to calm even the most stressed of Goetia demons even. The sweets are freshly baked with ingredients from the Gluttony Ring. They should pair with the tea most excellently. "

Even though they were alone now Baynarah kept her formal mannerisms with Octavia her mother would disapprove if she did otherwise as the two sat across from each other. " I trust you are fairing well Your Highness even in these trying times we face? "

While Octavia was never one for tea, preferring to have coffee instead, she couldn't deny that the aroma wafting from her cup was tempting. Time would tell if it truly worked to cure stress, but if it was from the Sloth Ring, it might do the trick.

Lifting the cup to her beak, Octavia gently blew some of the steam away before taking a sip. The taste was as pleasant as the aroma, and she found herself starting to relax. "The tea is most wonderful," she said, smiling slightly as she placed the cup back onto the saucer.

At the question, Octavia's smile faltered. "As much as I'm able. I decided to bury myself in my studies to take my mind off of things. I'm...rather far behind, and I know Granddad and the rest of my family expect more from me." She could have gone to her uncle for help, but she didn't trust him.

SHE WAS RIGHT THERE— saying Stolas chose him over her. it made his heart sink, rendered speechless && guilt driven by her true feelings. how could he face her after that?

"Si. We've known each other since we were teens, if not younger," he said, smiling fondly of the simpler times between them. Before the politics and duties of their stations drove them apart.

At the mention of Octavia, the parrot's expression shifted to something more serious. "Of course. I am also worried about her, and have every intention of keeping an eye on her. I owe it to my friend to see that his daughter is safe, and I do not trust either her mother nor her uncle."

" Mmmm you miss me, Snowflake? " Striker whispered a gloved hand drifting to fondle the peacock's butt the hybrid's voice a sensual low whisper. " How bout' we go t' your chambers and do ' it ' "

An undignified, surprised honk would greet the assassin as his cheeks turned a dark shade of blue.

"You-!" The feel of the tail stroking his plumage, along with deft hands fondling his rear was enough to soothe his anger. For now.

"At least you have the common sense to know the correct time and place. Lead the way."

Sneasler - Powerful due to living in a harsh environment, and prefers to be alone. Also fast and likes to climb!

Charizard - Because I am pretty sure he would because it looks badass and makes him look badass and all the cool kids have one.

Obstagoon - This just seems like a Blitz pokemon to me, especially since Blitz likes to taunt others and run his mouth xD

Meowscarada - To fit in with the circus/performer theme of Blitz's character, and how Blitz does crave attention.

I also didn't ruin the reputation of another noble family with my actions, nor give out extremely powerful magical artifacts to those who would abuse them, thus putting our realms in danger.

//Turning off anon is a feature that should be used more by everyone, along with stepping away from online spaces when you feel your mental health/state spiraling.

If you feel shitty, it's okay to step away and come back when things are better! Don't stay online when shit gets bad because it will only make things worse, and you all deserve better than that and deserve to protect yourself and your well being.

This is also a note for myself since I'm bad for this at times.

The Meta teams/characters in video games are not the be all/end all, and you shouldn't have to use, or worse pay for them to play (Ex. Hoyoverse and shelling out money for all the premium 5* characters, their weapons, items, etc. and getting them all maxed at 6/6) and enjoy a game. Especially at a competitive level.

Example: In Pokemon Champions there are several pokemon and team comps that are meta that everyone, including myself, have used. And while they do work/have a purpose and help you climb the ranks, you still need to play around/tweak them to your play style.

Not to mention that there are always counters to the meta, which means depending solely on that to win won't get you far in the end, so why the fuck do we insist that everyone needs to follow the meta? Or feel pressured to have all the meta teams/characters to enjoy a game?

Basically, we need to stop with this mentality that you need the best of the best to play and enjoy a game, especially when you can make a really good team with free to play options. Sure it'll require a lot of research and playing around to find something that works, but I think it'll save you money and burnout in the long run.
