So I might have had a dissociative episode after eating an edible and just wanna vent about it. Don’t wanna post about it on Facebook cuz my boss is on there but it was a pretty shitty experience.

I had trouble figuring out what was real or not even if it had just happened a few seconds ago. And every few seconds I would realize that the previous few seconds actually happened and that I didn’t dream them and that I must have been as conscious then as I was after but I wasn’t sure if that was actually true or not.

It’s really hard to describe how it felt but it was incredibly distressing and came with a lot of intrusive thoughts about whether or not it would ever end or if I’d always be like that.

Also I might've hallucinated a bit cuz I heard things that I'm like 99% sure didn't actually happen and I'm not totally sure everything that I saw actually happened either but idk if that's due to faulty memory or perception. :/

Has anyone else ever experienced anything like that before? Idk if that’s just what it’s like to be really high and if that’s normal or if I really just had a super shitty reaction. I haven’t been high more than maybe 4 or 5 times before this, and this was only my second time taking edibles so I’m not super experienced with this kind of stuff.

As for the edible, it was a 10mg chocolate thing from a rec store so I know it wasn’t laced or anything like that. Also my friend had one awhile ago and barely felt anything from it, but he has a MUCH higher tolerance than me.

Anyway if any of you have any thoughts on this feel free to reply or send me a message cuz it’s definitely something I’d like to hear opinions on.

I don’t understand this specific criticism. I mean Trump has a lot of terrible things going for him - but in this phrase he specifically says they let you do it. Consent is involved in the sentence! Lots of people allow the rich and famous to touch them sexually. It’s a really widespread phenomenon.

"Letting something happen" does not equal consent. It implies passively allowing it to happen, not affirmatively agreeing to the behavior (which is what consent is). Just because they don't say no doesn't mean it's not assault, especially if they fear what you might do to them if they fight against it.
