#virsa's mushroom saga - I went on a road trip in 2024 and my friends hid tiny mushrooms all over my house. I still haven't found them all but we're over 100 at this point.

I still mask because I had Covid once (that I know of) in 2022, missed four months of work and had to fight tooth and nail to get my hours back. I had breathing problems, fatigue, and heart palpitations, and while I was lucky enough not to have permanent problems I don't ever want to roll those dice again.

I still mask because I work with the public every day, and I used to get sick a lot more often before I started masking (and I don't get paid sick leave).

I still mask because I see everyone from newborns to 85-year-olds in my job and I don't want to make them sick.

I still mask because I believe in the Golden Rule.

Pattern is Pascal the Pangolin by Chanel Beauchamp on Ravelry if you want to make your own! I tweaked the head slightly:

inc to 12 on row 3

inc to 18 on row 6

inc to 24 on row 9 (back in line with the pattern)

I used k+c cotton for the body (RIP JoAnn's) and Malabrigo Washted in Piedras for the scales ✨ The pattern has a great video tutorial on the crocodile stitch!
