* I've been alcohol free for four and a half months *I went to school at night and became a certified Phlebotomist *Got a phlebotomy job at Penn* have taken care of my psoriasis with humira *gotten back to the gym * contacted a nutritionist and am putting my all into low Fodmap* I make my bed every morning * I care for and love my beautiful cat Newt* I am learning how to respect myself, and within that respect realizing that I matter just as much as I've emphasized everyone else mattering* I am a great baker, cook, artist and creator *I have wrangled my finances and taken control of them by the horns* planned my first self funded vacation* lived with my parents for a year + with my grandma and haven't gone crazy * planning and budgeting to spoil myself with Louis Vuitton on my birthday only on condition that I don't drink* I've kept my room clean for four months * I am suddenly morphing into someone I respect, want to take care of, and am excited for her future.

Nothing like going through your Notes app and deleting at least three entries over the years saying goodbye to your friends and family. It's really scary reading those because it takes you back to how low you were in those moments and how some of those things will always ring true. It scares me that I could slip into that again one day. For now, I'm good, it's just unsettling to remember that I wrote that. And I really meant it at that time... mental health is just so serious and finding help is always worth it
