Not sure Hannah would be considered the first Black Victoria. Francesca Hayward beats her by like seven years and there could be some before

Yes, but I was more so referring to actual live productions of the cats and whether they were first cast. I sort of consider the movie its own thing if that makes sense.

To your other point of there could be more, besides her, there was Lisa Dawn Cave, who was an emergency cover and the first Black woman to ever play Victoria in an official production (US Tour three), but she was an emergency cover and not first cast or even meant to step into the role, so I struggle to “count” her for my initial point. She’s so far the only Black Victoria in a replica production.

There have been a few regional productions where first cast Victoria’s has been played by black woman fortunately but these are all unofficial productions.

So all that being considered, I do consider Hannah to be the first Black, first cast Victoria in a live production of Cats, I should say lol. hope that clears things up <3
