lmao okay so whenever i get the time im redoing these designs and also doing more but based on chronological order how much of a pain in the ass would that be?

Year 1, Moon 0

Quillstar almost lost a life recently.

The snow bites through Quillstar's pawpads as she tretches through the unfamiliar forest. Her paws were still wet from crossing the stream dividing their new home from the rest of the clans. And they hold this gathering once a moon? Even with the cold, surely they would rather be home in their nest?

Sure enough, the newly named NightingaleClan cats approach a huge fallen tree. Beneath the hefty dusting of snow, Quillstar can see deep claw marks, some weathered from seasons, maybe even years. This was an ancient tree, surviving from what Quillstar would guess was the very beginning.

Quillstar can feel the eyes of the dozens of other cats on her. It's intimidating, but she puffs her chest out, defiant of any judgement they're willing to impose on her. She looks up and sees the other leaders of the other clans. Eveningstar of HollowClan, a new leader like herself who had just risen to power after the execution of Wickedstar. Icystar of DuskClan, who Quillstar almost couldn't find admist the pletora of frost and snow. Haystar of MeadowClan, who shyly sits in the back. And Shiningstar of RainClan, who looks just about as ancient as some of the gnarled branches on the tree.

Gorsekit, year 0

Not much to say about Gorsekit. Long has she already forgotten the warm twoleg nest. Now she enjoys helping her mother in the medicine cat den, or following around Ravenstorm.

Woodpaw, year 0

A former kittypet that lived near DuskClan's borders all her life, she suddenly takes an interest in NightingaleClan. What are these strange cats doing here? They better not do anything strange to her twolegs!

In an attempt to gather more information, Woodpaw takes on a clan name and joins the fledgling clan as an undercover agent for her owners. She's always quick to lend a paw... she needs them to trust her, after all. It's tricky sneaking back at night, but someone has to do it.

Orchiddusk, year 0

Another orphan raised by Nightingale, Dusk was one of her best fighters. Now that he's considered a "young warrior of NightingaleClan", Orchiddusk is willing to do anything to prove his worth to Quillstar.

Spiderfreeze, year 0

Formerly a kittypet named Maia, Spiderfreeze had gotten into trouble with a band of strays while wandering from home. She gets lost, and finds herself upon Nightingale's clowder. The cats seemed interesting, and before she knew it, Maia had joined in on the journey for a new home.

She choses the name 'Spiderfreeze,' inspired by the other clan cats. She's still a little childish, much more interested in petty drama than feeding Gorsekit, but she has a good heart.

Yellowmoth, year 0

Originally named a kittypet Maudie, Yellowmoth had left her home after terrible stories of her twolegs. She had recently given birth to her kitten, Gracie, and was not about to let them take her away! As she runs, she meets a group of traveling cats. At this point, Maudie is starved and unsure of her ability to take care of her kitten. And to her surprise, the scary cat with the spiked collar insists she joins in.

She can't do much, she lets them know. She can't hunt, and she can't fight. But she loves her kitten and she can't stand seeing any cat hurt. That's fine, they tell her. Nightingale protects all her cats.

Eventually, when the clan cats demand the city cats to adopt their culture, Yellowmoth decides that a medicine cat is her true path, despite going against some "warrior code."

Ravenstorm, year 0

An older cat, toughened by seasons living as a rogue, Ravenstorm (formerly named Raven), lost his mate when Quill was still very young. However, he decides to stay with his daughter and support her throughout her life. So when she gets a little too close to Nightingale's clowder, what else can he do but follow her there? (Despite his reservations about the matriarch Nightingale)

In a new territory, Ravenstorm is named Quillstar's deputy for his wisdom and guidance. Whatever happens, Ravenstorm will be there for his daughter, as long as she's happy.

Quillstar, year 0

After the death of Nightingale, Quill assumes leadership of the group of city cats. Despite her mourning, the new Eveningstar of HollowClan demands a proper clan formation before they are given a piece of territory. Quill agrees, and changes her name to Quillstar.

Quillstar had grown up on the outskirts of twoleg territory with her father, Ravenstorm.

Feared by all and the main top cat in the twolegplace, Nightingale was a fierce mother, but loved all her cats.

After an accident separates her from the twolegplace, she gathers her clowder and travels to the forest. Nightingale knew the risks with the group of cats already residing there, but she had to find a safe place for her cats. The leader of one of the clans, Wickedstar of HollowClan, did not take so kindly to this.

In an attempt to find shelter, Nightingale's group of cats helps aid HollowClan's refugees to take Wickedstar's leadership. Nightingale does not survive the battle, but she passes on the torch to Quill, her second in command.

Later that night, Nightingale visits Quill in her dreams with stars in her fur.

Leaders have star shaped eye shines, a star shaped marking on body, and dark bags under eyes/wrinkles. These may appear upon ascension or within the few first years of leadership.

ThunderClan leaders develop a lion's mane within a few seasons of leadership, even when described otherwise.
