This is our rewrite of entirety of NuWho! This is a brand new project, inspired from the SEVERAL OTHER PROJECTS that the two of us are working on.
The major themes for this rewrite will be war, grief, change, trauma and healing, and the importance of decisions and interactions. We can apparently never stray too far from the same themes of war!
This page will mainly be used to provide some of the worldbuilding for the Universe, and to recruit betas when that time comes.
The main author is Lief (@sfhppjmc) (whoa a switch up!), who is 18 and uses they/it pronouns. They like the evolutions of culture, relationships, representation, and influences of the world on people. They have been a huge fan of Doctor Who for many years now, and are a huge nerd in both science and history, so this page will more than likely end up with many rants on those topics throughout the writing process. They have been recently recruited to the cult of Voltron, and have been obsessing over that recently.
Our co-author is Sol (@packcoventhing), who is 19 and uses it/he pronouns! He loves character development, interactions, relationships, and heavy worldbuilding. He's been a huge Doctor Who (and Voltron) fan for ages, and is a big speculative alien biology guy.

Below the cut are some of the main points that will be fixed in this rewrite and changes.
Nine, Fourteen, and Fifteen will be receiving longer stories
The AU Kilonova ( @dw-kilonova ) is the prelude in a sense to this series, detailing the adventures from before the Time War.
Gallifreyans are an alien species and will not be obeying to human gender norms actually
The War Doctor no longer exists, instead it was the Ninth doctor to fight in the war, adding to the grief of his character and the general impact of the Time War in the beginning of the series.
Nine will be disabled as a result of the war
The story will be mainly focused on the Doctor as the main character, rather than the companions and their families. They will be heavily involved, but from the perspective of the Doctor allows more exploration of the themes of the story. As a result:
The Deca and past companions will play a larger role in the current series
Desperation and grief become more heavily portrayed
The Time War and Fall of Gallifrey will become more impactful
Situationships will be developed throughout the series with different characters, with the main one being between The Doctor and The Master
NineRoseJack will happen, and so will TenRose (Timepetals!)
Martha is not gonna have a crush on the Doctor and will be given a character development outside of that (gasp!)
The Doctor will treat Martha and Mickey better
Amy will not have a crush on the Doctor, rather trying to escape and avoiding commitments, something the Doctor very much understands and realizes. It adds to their adventures as he doesn’t initially know what she is running from but supports her anyways.
The Doctor and River will be in a weird relationship that the Master randomly pops in on
Clara and Eleven will not happen
Thirteen is allowed to be angry about everything she went through with the Timeless child arc, the destruction of Gallifrey once again, and the increasing tensions between her and the Master
Getting rid of all sexist writing yay
The Timeless Child arc will be more grounded in the story itself and have a build up to the reveal
Both The Doctor and The Master are timeless children, something that would be further expanded in the rewrite
Yaz and Thirteen will happen, but not how they were attempting in canon
There will be more development between Rouge and Fifteen
Belinda will be given a better end to her being a companion and the final episode didn't happen like that actually
Conrad does not get a happy ending
Susan’s arc for Fifteen will be completed, rather than the weird ending provided with the actual series

Give me Rose Tylers who’s disabled by the bad wolf. Give me Rose Tyler who’s overextended mortal mind after holding the vortex frequently gets overwhelmed by sensory input resulting in migraines. Who gets deja-vu from events she saw in the vortex so strongly she feels dizzy for a spell. A Rose Tyler, whos cells nearly all burnt up with power, constantly hum with ache under her skin.
the thing about doctor who is that if you get into in enough you have the ability to only ever consume doctor who. with out even rewatching or listening to anything. tbh it’s becoming a problem for me
guys i wish Time Lords looked less human. i wanna have their eyes tinted gold with oval pupils and their ears be slightly pointed and their blood be more visibly orange. like make them a bit uncanny yknow. fuck with the mind. ‘oh you’re human!- oh wait’
The Doctor, with his hands cupped over each other: I found a cool little alien!
Jack : Oh? Lemme see!
The Doctor, opening his hands to see nothing there: …hm.
Rose: …where’s the alien.
The Doctor: *looks troubled and stares at his hands*
Jack : Oh no.
Rose: DOCTOR, WHERE’S THE ALIEN?!
I really don’t think Doctor Who is ever gonna top the image of the 12th Doctor striding away from Gallifrey, coat absolutely eating the wind, sunglasses perfectly perched on his face, one hand casually holding an electric guitar.
The Doctor would die a thousand fiery deaths to have the Master happy, healthy & redeemed. The Master would die a thousand fiery deaths if it meant the Doctor would grieve each one.
