I want to know what goes down in the Bunny/Faybelle room SO bad
House Party: part 1
Alistair's POV
This house felt too alive. Lights bled into every corner and music vibrated through the people like a second heartbeat. Briar’s parties had been described to me millions of times before by Lizzie, so I tried my best to prepare myself for madness. Laughter and chatter bounced on the walls and back, making me realize just how many people were taking up the living room. I looked down at Bunny, she was holding a cup that held red punch with little chunks of fruit swimming through. She was leaning against a pillar that stood between the kitchen and the living room; I was standing in front of her, trying not to get caught looking for the millionth time. Her hair was done up and her outfit was classy as per usual. I could tell that she enjoyed Ever After parties, since she was smiling the whole time and laughing too hard at my unfunny jokes. I dodged shoulders and cups, resulting in me moving closer to Bunny. My sleeve touched her arm, and her gaze switched from the crowd of people, to me. We held eye contact for a moment. Just a moment before I placed myself beside her, letting us both watch the party take place side by side. She tapped my shoulder lightly, causing me to turn and look down into her eyes. She made a gesture to bend down, and I did, letting her speak directly into my ear.
“Why are they looking at us like that?”
My head stayed where it was, but my eyes drifted off to where Bunny was looking. I saw Kitty and Lizzie whispering to each other, mirroring me and Bunny; Maddie stood close to the pair, giggling at the secrets being shared. Curious. What could they be saying? Teasing us as usual? My heart beat faster as I kept studying their behavior. Kitty was smiling and nodding, and I feared the worst from their conversation.
“I don’t know” I simply said
My thoughts were interrupted by Bunny talking again.
“Lets go to the kitchen”
She immediately turned her head and let her body follow. I also followed, trying not to lose sight of her in the huge crowd of people. Briar’s parties are so chaotic. As we entered the kitchen, I was aghast at how comfortable people made themselves in a place like this. There were some people eating food out of the fridge, going into different rooms, and even making catastrophic messes. Bunny grabbed a cup and filled it with tap water. She held it up to me and made a face that screamed “drink it”. I grabbed it from her and took big gulps at a time. I figured she knew how uncomfortable I felt, yet I was praying that my face didn’t show it too much. But I’m sure it did. She took my hand and dragged me up the stairs, passing people coming up and down in a rhythmic pattern. I followed her as she led me to the large hallway decorated with Briar’s family photos and expensive vases filled with exotic flowers. We walked up and down like it was a museum. I took a deep breath of relief and Bunny smiled at me. It was quiet upstairs and I looked around to fill the silence. Though I felt relieved, I didn’t last for long. Maddie came out of one of the rooms and maniacally giggled until she was holding her stomach. It wasn’t out of the ordinary for Maddie, but I got a bad feeling about her sudden presence paired with the looming curiosity about our earlier interaction. I turned my head and almost threw up. It was Kitty and Lizzie crossing their arms, smiling like a caught jester. I tried to act natural; after all they were my friends, but this felt weird. Before me or Bunny could speak, we got pushed into the room with lights pouring through and the closet door wide open.
The strong smell of perfume overpowered my lungs. Briar’s closet was filled to the brim with clothes, yet felt smaller than it looked. Disorganised hangers and piles of clothes touched my shoulders and neck. Kitty, Maddie, and Lizzie shoved us in in a blurry moment. They giggled on the other side of the door, giving us a rundown of an Ever After party tradition. What a strange tradition. Kitty always joked about how the two of us would only act on our feelings if “shoved together”, and I guess this is what she meant. It was irregularly dark, the only thing I could make out was Bunny's bright green eyes looking up at me. The awkward silence took us over, as the giggling died down. Maybe they left. Or maybe they were still there, just listening. Technically, we both could’ve exited the closet, but we didn’t. For some reason. The only thing I could think to do was break the awkward silence.
“An Ever After tradition,” Bunny chuckled, though it seemed like she was talking to herself more than to me
I waited again. For her to say something, or do something, or to tell me something. But silence possessed us once again. Out of millions of books, I couldn't access the right words–or any words–in my brain to express in the moment. As seconds passed, time stood still. She played with her sleeves and straightened out her already ironed dress. I ran my hands through my hair and rubbed my elbow, keeping the silence from turning awkward with one too many sighs. My eyes were adjusting to the dark, I could see more of her. More of her porcelain face that held no imperfections. More of her white hair and her mouth that talked to me like we’d been best friends for decades. Why couldn’t we talk now? Where are the words that usually come so effortlessly? My heart beat cut me off, matching with the aggressive ticking of my watch.
“You know,” I began, “we don't have to. If you don’t want to-”
“I didn't say that” she said, almost correcting me
I think I let out an ‘oh’ in response, followed by a smile. Hers came right after, and we both chuckled at the absurdity of the situation. The chuckles turned to full blown laughter, and I felt happy for the first time in a long time. It was just me and her. My best friend. The one I was trapped in wonderland with, and the one who was by my side in a whole new world. But yet again, my thoughts are interrupted by a trio of giggling. The voices on the other side seemed louder than before. Maybe I got too used to the silence. The familiar voices gave us instructions, like we were outsiders. And we were. I listen and take out my phone to set a timer of seven minutes. Curious. Seven is so odd. The giggling dies down again, and eccentric conversation is led outside of the room. Leaving us in silence again. But still, I can’t see her properly. I turned on my phone light and nearly braced for the sudden brightness. I put it between a multitude of hangers. The closet looked different from the inside than I was picturing in my head. I saw her clearly, and let out a stupid “hi” in response.
“I guess we should. Since it’s a tradition.” Bunny says, avoiding eye contact
“Yeah” I say, sounding more excited than I would have liked to
We agreed, but still, nothing happened. The sweat that coated my body from nervousness dried as the air shifted without warning. The warmth from before thinned, causing a bone-cold aroma only pure fear could have caused. But it wasn’t just me. Bunny’s shoulders curled, and she rubbed her hand along her arm. I got the message and hurriedly took off my jacket, leaving my beige shirt left to keep me warm from a sudden cold. I wrapped it around her, still avoiding eye contact for some strange reason. I had given her my jacket millions of times before; but it was the circumstances which made it seem awkward. I fiddled with my watch. My hair. My belt buckle. I just didn't know what to do with my hands. With myself. Maybe I was doing too much, or maybe she was just tired of waiting, but either way, she noticed. I’m seldom at a loss for words, but I don’t know what to say next. Until the distance between us closed suddenly.
Her lips were soft. Too soft. I feel her hair on my forehead and collarbone, along with her hands settling between my neck and shoulders. I wrap mine around her back. I was bent down to her height, and my legs felt wobbly with euphoria. I smiled, we both did. It deepens fractionally as her hands migrate to the corner of my jawline. My hands brushed her hair, then found its way back to her back. I didn't notice the bizarre situation until I heard more giggling outside. I’m kissing my best friend in a closet that our friends locked us into. My stomach flips like I was on a high altitude ride with a mile long line. Her lips move for a split second, maybe to say something, or to laugh or breathe. Something accidental, something intentional. I can’t figure it out. It was pure greed. I just wanted to stay in this moment for life and forget the cruel possibility that the seven minutes could possibly be up. My thoughts repeat like a mantra before getting interrupted by the timer on my phone. We part and hold eye contact. Our smiles are contagious and our hands stay where they were. I wished for more. But before I could act, a bright light blinded me. Bunny winced and turned her head away from the open door. And the first thing I see is the last thing I saw before getting locked in. 3 giggling girls.

Hey guys, this is gonna be a few part fanfic where a series of events take place in one of Briars house parties. Part 2 is prolly gonna be Dizzie in Lizzies pov. But Just to clear some things up, this takes place when bunnistair are still friends and where daring hasn't cheated on Lizzie yet (kinda manipulating time for the sake of this fanfic.) Also I was going to do Apples pov for each couple, but it got so boring so I thought digging deeper into their emotions and stuff if it was their individual povs would be way better. I'll try my best to write alot more butttt as always feel free to contact me with a ship you'd like to read about :)
Curiouser and Curiouser
“Checkmate”
Alistair sat at the gazebo, playing chess alone as per usual. There had been a common pattern for Bunny to come and play with him when she wasn’t busy with her many clubs. But whether they were together or not, someone was always watching.
“You haven’t done it yet have you?” Kitty yawned, laying on a nearby branch
“What?” he asked confused
“Don't play tweedledum. You know what I’m talking about”
He looked up from his board and at Kitty, furrowing his eyebrows defensively.
“I don’t know what you're talking ab-”
Kitty poofed, teleporting from the branch to the seat across from him. Kitty shot him a challenging look, not breaking eye contact. He stared back, trying to pretend he didn’t know what she was talking about. It had been a short time since he and Bunny had transferred to Ever After High, and with a fresh start, what a perfect time to tell Bunny how he truly felt. But it wasn't easy. His brain could only think about the part where she doesn’t like him and he ruined a friendship of years through one confession.
“You know,” she poofed behind him “If you don’t tell her soon, someone else might”
He shot her with a mixed look of desperation and defensiveness. How in wonderland did she know? All he needed now was a meddling Cheshire to ruin everything.
“I was going to tell her”
“Tell who?” she snickered
He rolled his eyes. Maybe everyone was right. He would protect her, get jealous over her, he’d slay a bandersnatch for her, maybe people started noticing. Everyone but her.
“Bunny.” he gave up “I'm going to, I just need the perfect time”
“When exactly is the perfect time?” she questioned “It's sure taken a while”
“I don’t know when, I'll know when I know”
She scoffed, done with their dancing around. Bunny’s blushing and giggling over Alistair's lame jokes couldn't fool a Cheshire cat. Almost like her favourite show, she couldn't wait for it to come to an end.
“Excuses. Excuses. This conversation seems oddly familiar” she grinned
“What are you talking about” he gulped
“All I’m going to tell you is that if you don’t tell her,” she poofed back on the branch “I will.”

Hey yall this one had been sitting out for a while and I havent posed so here it is. Sorry if its a little short I was really focused on making the dialogue good here. As always, feel free to make requests.
Way More Headcanons
-apple and briar volunteer at the old folks home and set up games and activities for them
-I feel like alistair had a skateboard phase and never touched it again
-bunny has a maid. this one is pretty much canon since the white rabbit had a maid in the original fairytale. I feel like this one is so cute because since bunny doesn’t have any siblings and the white rabbit is most likely working for the queen most of the day, she has some company
-kitty and her mom go on mother-daughter dates where they gossip and get their nails done together
-ginger is a genius at chemistry. it started with her love of baking when she was little, but her title as the candy witch repels people from wanting to be her lab partner
-ashlynn definitely smells like vanilla. but she wouldn't even use any perfumes she just naturally smells good
-and flowers grow where she walks (literally)
-sparrow has an eyebrow ring. literally saw someone with one and immediately thought of sparrow
In my last Wonderland Kids drawing, several people asked where Kitty, Maddie and Liz were, here's the answer :
The wonder girls always get ready for parties together in one of their rooms, helping each other with their outfits and makeup while listening to music
Alistair is there too, he's been ready for hours and is just sitting in bed with his eyes covered, just happy to be there
in honour of pride month i thought i’d share my sexuality hcs (which are more or less the exact same as everyone else’s)
ranking my top 5 favorite character logos from the diaries because why not
c.a. cupid: 100000/10. gorgeous beautiful stunning breathtaking. the wings! the arrows!! the hearts as the leaves!!! absolutely my favorite.
bunny blanc: the cutest most adorable thing ever. the bunny ears!! the waistcoat buttons!! the pocket watch!! one of mattel's finest works
cerise hood: a howling wolf (probably carmine) sitting on the bottom of the c!!!! so cute!! and the moon behind the letter!! such a great hint to cerise's secret.
cedar wood: i love the details!!! the cricket on top of the letter, the wood grain pattern, the cuckoo clock!!!!!
duchess swan: so beautiful. the ribbon!!!, the laces!!!, the swan at the bottom!!! and the colors being black and white ack so good
Facts from the eah books I always forget about
-apple has glasses and is too embarrassed to wear them
-she’s insecure about her blond hair. in the books she would hear the people from her kingdom saying it was a shame she didn’t have black hair like her mother
-dexter has dimples as said in the storybook of legends book (apple was also described to have dimples)
-raven used to have a dog back when she was living with her dad the good king.
-kitty blamed herself for having bunny and alistair left behind in wonderland. she says “I’ll never leave a friend again” (stated in her diary)
-speaking of kittys diary, she also spilled soda all over daring when she found out he was cheating on lizzie. kitty was such a supportive friend and would go to lengths for lizzie
-hunter has a little baby sister named “fern” he would talk to her with a baby voice until his dad essentially told him to that no huntsman would act like that
It’s funny how people defend the “single Nancy ending” because you literally don’t get that? She’s with Jonathan until the end of the series and in the two episodes after their breakup…she’s still with Jonathan. It’s barely a fucking concept. The duffers have NO desire to meaningfully explore it.
It’s similar in a way to Jonathan going to NYU. Except worse. At least Jonathan’s parentification easing to the point where he’ll leave his family is an end state of a conflict. It was always going to resolve itself at the end of the series. Even if that resolution is wholly unsatisfying and shambolic at best.
Single Nancy is something the writers COULD have explored IN THE BODY OF THE SHOW. But they brought back unrequited Stancy in season 4 and saddled Nancy with that bullshit.
But sure, single Nancy! Yay?
Thinking of older New York Jancy being “we should host game night, it’ll be casual and fun” people, only for it to become exceptionlly heated by 9:30 p.m.
Nancy says she’s “not that competitive anymore,” which is a lie and everyone knows it. She has simply evolved from openly terrifying teenage Nancy into adult Nancy who smiles very tightly while asking to “just clarify the rules really quick.” She is a ruthless Scrabble player, a deeply unpleasant Monopoly opponent, and absolutely cannot handle losing at Clue because, excuse you, she is literally an investigative journalist.
Jonathan, meanwhile, is quietly lethal at Trivial Pursuit in a way nobody sees coming until it’s too late. He’ll sit there all soft-spoken and unassuming, refilling people’s drinks, letting Nancy argue about whether someone’s answer was “technically close enough,” and then casually know the capital of Burkina Faso, the director of some obscure 1960s Italian film, and which Beatle played sitar on what song. Just completely devastating people with the energy of a man who spent his entire youth reading random library books because going out cost money. Nancy finds this both deeply attractive and infuriating because she does not love being beaten by him in front of witnesses. So game night always ends with her accusing him of “hoarding weird little facts specifically for this purpose,” and Jonathan, trying not to smile, saying, “Yeah, Nancy, I’ve been planning this since 1983.”
When the gang visits? Robin is banned from being on Nancy’s team because she asks too many questions without really listening to the answers.
Steve is banned from being the banker in Monopoly because he short changes everyone (and becomes incredibly indignant when anyone accuses him of cheating).
Max is so savage at Uno that getting anyone to play with her is like pulling teeth. She plays Draw Four cards with the cold, dead-eyed focus of someone seeking vengeance more than victory.
Lucas is the king of charades because he commits, he’s expressive, and he’s just practical enough to know embarrassment is temporary, but winning is forever. Max pretends not to be annoyed that Dustin is better at guessing on Lucas’ turns than she is.
They are ALL banned from playing Risk (especially Dustin because be becomes an unapologetic war lord).
I’ve decided El is still alive El’s go-to is always Scattergories, and she is weirdly, terrifyingly good at it. Years of quietly absorbing vocabulary, magazines, television, slang, newspaper headlines, and random pop culture references have made her a secret weapon. Everyone underestimates her exactly once.
Will is too good at Pictionary and everyone resents him for it. It’s not even fair. He’ll draw three lines and Mike will be like, “Oh, obviously that’s existential dread,” and somehow he’ll be right. Both of them always bring a D&D set and claim to have a short, quick campaign to get everyone to play (it’s never been shorter than four hours).
And they do not talk about Jenga. After the incident.
By the end of the night, Nancy is standing in their tiny New York kitchen, aggressively rinsing wine glasses, insisting she is not mad. Meanwhile Jonathan leans against the counter, smug in the gentlest possible way, because he knows two things with absolute certainty:
One, he won Trivial Pursuit.
And two, Nancy Wheeler is going to demand a rematch before breakfast.
Lmao version of s4 where Nancy and Jonathan (both last minute without telling the other) fly to Lenora/Hawkins completely changing the dynamics of their respective groups
jonathan probably learned how to do first aid just… y’know, just in case
drawn to one another like magnets
st5 is the bad product of everything we turned a blindeye about in st4. Jonathan and Mike's character assassinations in season 4??! HAH, DON'T FEEL TOO BAD IF ALL THE CHARACTERS GET BUTCHERED IN SEASON 5!
oh, the byler baiting was bad? it ruined will, mike and el's stories??? THEY GOT AWAY WITH STANCY BAITING IN ST4 AND IT SERVED NOTHING AND ONLY RUINED STEVE'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OF 3 WHOLE SEASONS AND CHEAPENED DOWN JANCY'S BOND. Not only that, but it also took a bit of depth off the steve and robin bathroom heart to heart. Cuz robin had asked whether he was still in love with nancy, and Steve said no. love that cuz it highlighted steve's confession to robin wasn't him looking for a rebound. That's a huge character growth for a harlot like him.
Oh, allow me to mention how they sort of villainised jonathan in st4 to make steve look like a better option for nancy.
my family are about to hate the person I’m about to become watching this match…
