U know what I just realised? In The Greatest Showman, 95% of James Gordon Bennett's lines are just... roasting Barnum. Ik his dialogue is supposed to be conveying the highbrows opinions of circus, but I just find it hilarious that Barnum and Bennett will just flat out start throwing passive aggressive barbs at each other anytime they like lol.

Also do u guys think that after the circus is rebuilt, Bennett pulls an Anton Ego and starts to publicly support Barnum? Ngl I see Lettie, Anne, Charles and everyone else being a little weary of him at first but I just think that after the heart to heart Bennet and Barnum had near the end of the movie it would kinda be impossible for him to start criticizing the circus again.

Captain Jack Sparrow and Buck from Ice Age have the exact same deranged energy and I am here for it. I mean, just look at them:

You know what I really want to see in Jurassic World: Dominion? A scene where Claire repeats the line "A promise tomorrow is worth a lot less than trying today." to Maisie.

And then the following look of realization as she sees that her sister was right, she did eventually use the line on her kid.

Mind you, if this actually happened I would fall out of my seat in the movie theater and spill popcorn on the floor.

You know the visual gag that I'll bever get tired of in these animated talking animal movies? The one where the larger animals use the smaller animals as literally anthing they want.

In Open Season (2006), the rabbits are used as mouth wipes, ammunition, gas masks, et cetera.

In Ice Age: Collision Course, the gerbils are waiters, inhalers, YOU GET IT.

A projectile? Sure! A tissue? Go for it! There is nothing you can't do with those small, furry bastards!

Okay, so I have a headcannon for a modern day TGS.

Imagine if some time after the events of the movie, the whole cast of the circus goes out for drinks one night. After a couple of hours (and far too many shots courtesy of that bartender from The Other Side) Charles suggests they all go to the next door tattoo parlor and get tattoos representing their acts. It takes Phillip, P.T. and Charity some convincing (Anne has to bribe her boyfriend with kisses, all while P.T. and Charity insist they're not hip enough for tattoos anymore), but eventually, everyone agrees to the idea.

P.T. gets a circus tent on his left shoulder since he's the one who started the whole business.

Phillip gets a top hat on the inside of his wrist, while Anne gets her aerial hoop on her right shoulder.

Lettie gets her beard, The Albino Twins get their silouhettes, and Charles gets a toy soldier in a very unsavory place.

Constantine's is a hard one, since there isn't an inch of his body that isn't covered in tattoos already, but eventually O'Malley points out a space under his armpit. Constantine's tattoo is literally just the word 'TATTOO' in all caps.

Walter gets a dog, O'Malley gets a circus admission ticket, The Lord of Leeds gets his stomach pillow, and The Irish Giant gets his stilts.

The night ends when, after much deliberation, Charity gets a small tightrope with her and P.T. on it.

The scene from The Conjuring 2 where Ed Warren is singing 'Can't Help Falling In Love' with the Hodgeson kids is genuinely one of the most wholesome moments in horror movie history

Okay but the movie The Greatest Showman just radiates quiet chaotic energy lol. I mean... the scene where Barnum is talking about Jenny Lind's tour with Phillip while O'Malley just freaking destroys Caroline's piggy bank in the background? O'Malley casually about to steal a man's watch until P.T. tells him no? One of the performers literally running to attack the protesters with what looks to be a piece of plumbing? The part where Lettie, Charles and W.D. are all playing cards as P.T. drops the bombshell of a tour onto Phillip? Just the entirety of the Other Side?
