Pointed reminder that the US turned away countless Jewish refugees in the WWII era–including a young lass named Ann Frank–with the excuse that “some of them might be Nazis in disguise.”

And now the American right wing is doing the exact same thing with refugees fleeing violence in the Middle East.

So when right wing politicians in the US try to use that “never again” line to try to make themselves look like decent human beings who give a damn about the suffering of others, know that they are lying. Anyone who turns away refugees now would have turned them away then, too.

A white supremacist website called The Daily Stormer has posted a call to "TAKE ACTION" against Jewish people in Whitefish, providing personal contact information and urging a "troll storm" against

I just chatted with one of my closest friends, who is originally from Montana. is what she told me: 

The plus side is that there has been a tremendous community response. However, I worry about the police in that area of the state. They say they’re doing extra patrols, but a lot of them are alt-right/neo-nazi affiliated, and I don’t trust them. The rabbi in Whitefish [the town where this occurring] is amazing, and I’m so upset for their congregation. My home synagogue is being targeted in Missoula, but so far they haven’t published individual member info like they did in Whitefish. 

Given what we already know about alt-reich affiliated police officers all across country in relation to anti-black shootings and other crimes, I do not think her fears are unfounded. There is a chance that the local police could be the once to target the people they are being assigned to protect.

Please share this so that people know what the alt-reich are doing and keep the Jews of Montana in your thoughts and/or prayers.

If you are a gentile and you have family in Montana, it is your obligation to to rally them to protect their fellow citizens. Only their privilege can protect my people. Contact your local Jewish community and ask how you, a non-Jew, can be an ally if things get physically dangerous. People will have answers for you. 

We are under attack. Do you understand that? They are attacking us on our holidays.
