ooc | Jack & Aaron
AND JACK WOULDN’T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING OKAY. HE NEVER ONCE REGRETTED NOT GOING WITH SEAN. HIS BROS ARE LITERALLY EVERYTHING TO HIM THIS ISN’T EVEN REMOTELY OKAY!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG THE HELP!TOWNHOUSES THO (legit the best thing I’ve ever seen tbh). ;DD But I’ve thought about it a little more, and I do think that Jack has his own place and idk where Shane lives (I asked Tina what she thought) b/c I can see him living on his own or with Aaron or with Jack, but that’s basically up to her. Thoughts??
Ok, but I saw [ this ] and I thought of Jack/KK (if you replace Chris Pine with Leo ofc) and I just had to share BC I HAD A FEEL AND DSLKAFJLKSDAJFKLJDSAK NOOOOOOOPE I mean, not that she knew necessarily??? But just...anyway DAMMIT KEIRA YOUR FACE IS TOO HEARTBREAKING But the fact that it was the only shot Aaron and Shane were ever going to have and he gave it to them and RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DEAL??????? Jack just leads a charmed existence obv. Living apart sounds great to me!! I was v torn about it tbh so this actually helps alot??? Hahaha No, but actually if Jack moved on, that might actually be good for Aaron as a person, to like idk spread his own wings and define himself beyond his family, since I don't think he went to college or anything, so yeah. And I can def see him living in his own apartment and it's probs a little scary ngl ;DDDDDD And whenever Jack comes over he's just cleaning up like Jane Foster sticking her cereal in the cabinet when Thor comes over ;DDDD (Not even sure if I'm kidding tbqh) And idk where Shane lives? He'd be welcome with Aaron tho so yeah? Hahahaha

ooc | Aaron & Cass
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, but like when they met in the bar, I kinda want him to have said, “I was looking for you, of course.” And Cass is just like, “… that’s a terrible pick up line.” And idk probs teased him about it and later she’ll just be like, “…oh, he legit was telling the truth??!?”
ALSO ALL OF THESE ~JOBS (crying b/c artist ;DD) CAN I INTEREST YOU IN SOME KNIVES. ;DDD But I think either the contractor (OR LOOKING FOR FAMILY CRYING) sound about right??
Anyway, we are doing dinner soon-ish, but afterwards do you want me to start them? (unless you think there’s anything else we need to figure out first??)
HAHAHAAHAH yesssss ommmggggg he should tho :3 Also, he totes would and he'd smile and do that lean thing he does sooooooooooooooooooooo well I CRY anyway! OMG yes the teasing and he's internally like JOKE'S ON YOU ~dead~ But instead he laughs and he's just like, "And yet you won't stop talking about it." Cue wink. HAHAHA yesssss ok contractor in NYC looking for family it is!!!!!! And if you wouldn't mind starting them, that'd be fantabulous!
ooc | Aaron & Cass
OKAY SO I KINDA LOVE THE IDEA THAT HE NOTICES MIKE AND IS LIKE ~what and basically goes from just watching them (creeper ;) ) to actually being a part of their life. And so I like the idea of them being out one night and Aaron buying Cass a drink and basically I can def see where she’d really like him, especially since he’s from Boston and they’d talk about home. <3 So, I feel like they’ve probably been friends for a couple weeks at this point then? Basically, she knows him well enough to a) invite him to her apartment and b) have him over w/ Mike AND ACTUALLY THINKS THAT THEY WOULD BE FRIENDS, TOO ~CRYING.
But oh! So, why does Cass think he’s in NY, btw? And what does she think he does?
Yaaaaaay! Awesome! That totes works. :DDDDD Hmmmm, as far as what he does for a living...probs tells her he's a ghost hunter. ;DDD Jk, jk. Ummm, he probs says he's a contractor searching for work idk??????? HAHAHAH And that's why he's in NYC, too??? *shifty eyes* Or that he's an artist HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA jk jk Probs ~*~jokingly~*~ like, "I was looking for you, of course." HAHAHAHAHA Aaron you're hilarious, even if only you get the joke in that it's actually the truth. No, but probs he's kinda freelance and all that, "I'm looking for family in town." Just not ~his family. *facepalm* Or maybe that he's a traveling salesman. "Can I interest you in some knives?" WHAT AM I DOING
The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me.

Bopping It | Aaron & Mike
Mike stopped dead in his tracks when he Aaron introduced himself. The girls had said that they had another friend coming and he remembered wondering if he should be jealous, but jealousy was not what he felt when they met.
It was all he could do not to start a fight right then. He didn’t know why Aaron was there, but he assumed it could only be to get to him. He thought that this was a threat from Connoghan. A move to show just how much he knew: he had eyes on everyone they ever knew, everyone they ever loved.
It was enough to make Mike’s blood boil.
These were innocents. They knew nothing and Mike had gone to great measures to make sure it stayed that way. They were not part of this. And he hated Connoghan for dragging them into it all. For making them pawns in his war. A war they knew nothing about.
He clenched his fist, “Italian, through and through,” He replied, his eyes staring into the back of Donovan as he looked out the window.
And he was a Donovan: they hadn’t just sent some foot soldier here. He knew that name. The Donovans were key players to Connoghan’s operation.
The girls were within earshot, even if they were paying more attention to making the food in the kitchen than to what was being said, he wasn’t about to say anything that sounded unusual.
"Where you’re from … where’s that, Boston?” He asked, although he knew the answer, “What brings you down here?”
Despite himself, Aaron smiled. It was a cool, aloof kind of smirk, but one just the same. Turning, he shrugged, silhouetted against the window. Behind him, skyscrapers loomed, lights flashed. Car horns blasted and shouts wafted from the sidewalk far below. New York was alive and it was Moretti. Still, Aaron smiled. Mike was playing the game. Arching his brow, Aaron turned his eyes up towards Mike's, scrutinizing his countenance. His jaw was set and hard, eyes burning bright as they bored into him. Reacting as if attacked. "Huh," Aaron chuckled, rubbing his own jaw before he dropped his hand. The Morettis might not like seeing a Connoghan on their soil, but they had nothing to be angry about, not yet. No Moretti had suffered harm, so far. No, there was something else here. Aaron's eyes narrowed, but he said nothing about it. Mike clearly saw this as a threat. Aaron wondered if Mike believed Aaron had been following him. "That's right," he acknowledged, eyes flinty, when Mike pointed out he was Bostonian. "Ever been? I think you might find a trip very...enlightening," he added, slipping his hands into his pockets. When Mike asked what brought him to the area, he shrugged. "What else?" he inquired, shrugging as if it were nothing. "To see the sights." Pausing, he turned his head in the direction of the Carters, gathered in the kitchen, probing for weakness. Quickly, he turned back to Mike to see his reaction. "Never know where I might turn up. I'll be around for quite awhile, I'd imagine."
OOC | Aaron & Sonny
*that awkward moment when Sonny is #1 on everyone’s hit list* ahaha. Goooo Sonny. Way to use those people skills. *nods*
Anyway, question. Does anyone/everyone know that it’s Sonny who shot Mrs. Connoghan? Or maybe only, like, super boss people know? Or no one at all? … I have no idea, hahaha. But Aaron does know? Oh man. I can totes see a super awesomepants stand off happening between these two if Aaron hunts down Sonny to make him pay. But maybe Sonny gets away the first time and it’s becomes, like, a running thing between them? They happen to meet up but the job just never really gets done? Eh?
HAHAHAHAH ommmggg poor Sonny tho *facepalm* Hmmm, I would think that the Morettis almost certainly know but I'm not really sure beyond that? Honestly, I'm cool either way tbh. I mean, Sonny could even taunt him with it or something if they're arguing back and forth or something (tho Aaron would def draw on him at that point tbh hahahah) if you or Lizzy don't think they'd know but we want Aaron to? I mean, Aaron'd def carry that news back to Boston but..idk. HAHAHAH thoughts?
OOC | Aaron & Sophie
Probably around the time Sophie realized that her father was serious about Jack becoming the head of the family instead of Sophie. I think she figured by the time she was sixteen or something, Luke would start training her how to manage the mafia. But when he didn’t, when he kept insisting that this wasn’t the life for her (which probably escalated into a huge fight between the two of them when Luke probably yelled at her, saying something like “You will NEVER run this family. NEVER.”), and instead focused all of his attentions on training Jack….
That’s probably when Sophie turned from loving Jack as another brother into despising him as the one who took away her birthright.
And that’s probably around the same time that things became ~weird with Aaron and Sophie too, because she’d lash out at him for being so loyal to his brother, when she’d want someone to be loyal to her too. But no one was stepping up to the plate and supporting her bid, so she just gets angrier.
Ughhhh poor Sophie! That's srsly the saddest thing. And then on top of that, someone kills her mom *cue sarcastic 'yay'* Aaron would still totally see where she's coming from with that, I think and he'd feel guilty that a house divided can't stand: he can't choose both. I mean, he's a bit hot-headed so in the moment, when she'd lash out, he'd get mad too, but I think after he'd just be clutched with this feeling of being stuck between a rock and a hard place, yknow? Ok, so that means it's been this way (strained) for twelve yeas, if it started when she was 16. So they've probs managed in that time to kind of construct a working truce, in a way? Like, they kind of deal with each other well aware of these terms at this point, I'd think? I think Aaron's solution would probs be along the lines of ~not bringing it up HAHAHAH Like, just avoiding the subject, if he can. I can see them hanging at the bar, occasionally, with Declan, while Aaron just kind of tries to deal with it without dealing with it in a vain hope to rekindle what it had?????
ooc | Jack & Aaron
NO GO AWAY
BUT SERIOUSLY THE DONOVAN BROS GET ME OKAY LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY BANDED TOGETHER AND TURNED OUT OKAY (well relatively speaking haha) AFTER HAVING PARENTS WORTHY OF BR BA IS JUST AKJDLFKAJSDLFKJASDLKFJ. And like they are there for each other in everything and nothing comes before their brothers and just aljdflaksjflkajfalsjflaksjfalskdjf ugh no.
Okay, so they def all lived together up to a point, but now I feel like they def have more money than they did (obviously) and do you think they’d still live together or would they each have their own place? B/c I can see it going either way …??
NONONONONONOOOOOOOOOOOONONONONOPENOPENOPEE BC IT WAS BEING TOGETHER THAT GOT THEM THRU OK THEY ACT AS A TEAM NO MATTER WHAT AND THAT ALL STARTED WITH JACK. Like, he could've just gone his own way with Sean and never thought twice about Aaron - but he did. He made the choice Sean didn't and he went back for his siblings and he got them out and he made a better life for them EVEN THOUGH HE WAS JUST A KID HIMSELF. He found a way. Aaron will never forget that, not ever. Hmmmm, I can def see it going either way, too????? Where they have a [ townhouses ] next to each other. HAHAHAH or like in Help! where those houses are all [ conjoined ] when you go inside. Jk, jk Srsly, I have no clue. You?
Bottoms Up | Aaron & Declan
"Yo, barkeep!" Aaron's smirk lit his lips, his eyes dancing a bit. "This round's on me," he said, making a circular motion with his hand to indicate it was one for everyone. Approaching the counter, he leaned over the side. His voice lowered in confidence. "Guess who landed a gig 'treating' with some Moretti stooge." His grin widened. "Alek fucking Nielson. You should see this guy. Got the world's nastiest mug and his record - accused of killing three people before he ever got attached to the Morettis, in the '90s." Aaron shook his head. "I'm gonna enjoy this, Declan. Fucker deserves what's coming to him." What Aaron wasn't going to enjoy so much was the peaceful aspect of this talk, but still, he felt sure a little impertinence would still go a long way on his own chart of personal gratification. Patting the counter, he straightened up to his full height and cast a glance around the bar. "Hey," he said, spotting a girl who was, unbeknownst to him, Declan's little sister. "That new waitress. You moving in on that?" he inquired, not wanting to step on Declan's toes, if he was interested in the girl. His brow furrowed and Aaron turned towards Declan with another smirk. "Wow, Sophie's not here. There's a first." It hadn't gone unnoticed to Aaron that, lately, Sophie seemed to be spending more and more time here, lingering around the bar as long as Declan was there. He arched his brows. "What's going on there, exactly?" Aaron's own relationship with Sophie was...complicated, to say the least. The Connoghans were like family, as far as Aaron was concerned (certainly more so than, say, his parents). Sophie was practically a sister, and he loved her as such, but things had been strained as she'd become increasingly intent upon being an active part of this organization, while Connoghan preferred Aaron's own brother, Jack, for any given job. Aaron felt torn, to say the least. Granted, his first loyalty was always to Jack. If Jack decided that the three Donovans should turn and take all the Connoghans down, Aaron would certainly feel heartburn about it - but that wouldn't stop him from doing. Sure, he wanted to think he'd at least wrestle with it, but he knew deep down that he would always side with Jack. He trusted him too much to ever believe he wouldn't have a good reason for it. Fortunately for Aaron, however, Jack would never do that. But Aaron's loyalties might still be tested in other ways...such as choosing between Jack and Sophie.
