I am at the age where I only have so much energy and have had to shift priorities (there are so many things I wish I had the energy to do and learn, but I just don't right now), but my health is my #1 priority. So we have decided on a name for The Canine Formerly Known as Dude. I ran a bunch of names past him and the one he likes the most is Grendel. So Grendel it is (though I will likely call him "dude" pretty often as I called Munro "dude" a lot). Yeah, Grendel is the bad guy in Beowulf, but it is a sweet name and one that no one will accidentally say and confuse him.
