sexting is out, texting back and forth about your feelings about each other is in
sierras
I really hope that Love, Simon changes the way we do LGBT movies because I swear to God, every lesbian/wlw movie on netflix is a weird sex drama that involves one woman leaving her man for another woman in passionate sex affair and like???? not relatable???? give me girls who like girls in a dumb romantic comedy, not a melodramatic indie movie. I shouldn’t have to watch a soft porno in order to see two women falling in love.
“Into every generation a slayer is born: one girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone will wield the strength and skill to fight the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their number. She is the Slayer.”
Timothée Chalamet in Hot Summer Nights (2018)

Call Me By Your Name (2017) dir. Luca Guadagnino

i want friends with whom i can visit art galleries and photography collections, exchange monthly book recommendations, take long city walks during the night, drink cheap wine while listening to vinyl records, browse second-hand bookshops, spend all day in little libraries, sit on balconies and take pictures of the evening sky
you only get to say fuck once in a PG-13 movie and Love, Simon delivered it perfectly
I just need one good lesbian movie that will make me feel the way I felt while watching love, simon
