HEADCANON NUMBER TWO: HUMAN NAME & PERSONA.

Abaddon likes the playful irony that comes and goes in small details. One of her best ideas, however, was the latest chosen human name. Abaddon chose to go by AGNES, which means "PURE” and, in her twisted mind, it is a funny joke that she will be able to tell every time she introduces herself.

To anyone that doesn’t know what lurks beneath the surface, Abaddon is not a Knight of Hell; instead, she’s a young woman with an interesting sense of style that contrasts her bubbly personality. If asked, she’s simply a bartender at a bar that shall not be named (Abaddon couldn’t bother to actually think it through), previously a personal assistant that got tired of her work. It is easy for Abaddon to slip into that persona, either out of need or out of boredom.

HEADCANON NUMBER ONE: ABADDON AS A KNIGHT OF HELL.

On the Supernatural page, a quote from Cain, the original Knight of Hell, described himself and the rest of the knights as “bringers of chaos and darkness” and I think it fit well with your description of Abaddon, as a demon that yearns for destruction and death. I imagined that, just like in Supernatural, they were handpicked by Lucifer himself, and one of the first demons created, specifically and solely to fill the spot of Knights of Hell and serve Hell. This would make them one of the oldest demons, one of the first souls to be twisted and corrupted, though a bit younger than Lilith and the Princes of Hell.

Personally, I believe it fits who Abaddon is and what their goals are and that makes their choice of vessel all the more interesting. It also ties well with their one true allegiance, which is Lucifer, since the Knights are sworn to protect their king.

UNHINGED.

A smile appeared on Abaddon’s lips as she put her leather jacket on; it had been a boring night out and she was ready to get out of the bar she had so randomly chosen to go to and spend a few hours, trying to see if her mere presence would set off any human around her. Boredom had hit pause when a man had approached her --- and, by Lucifer, he looked delicious. Biting her lip, yearning for a taste of his flesh she motioned him to follow her outside. A game she had never been bested at was about to start; she was the cat and the man was the mouse though Abaddon was sure he thought the same about himself. The moment they were alone, it had become clear who was at the top of the food chain. Nails digging into the man’s neck, raising him against the wall. His whimpers of pain and fear were music to her eyes, a sigh escaping her --- almost out of pleasure ---, her eyes rolling in pure bliss at the sound of it. “Now, now --- no need to be so dramatic.” Abaddon spoke, her eyes widening as she spoke the word ‘dramatic’. “I’m only going to have some fun with you. If you must know, I already know the end...” the demons started, tilting her head. “You? Dead. Me? Happy.” Lucifer hadn’t said anything about not allowing his demons to have some fun whilst they conquered, or ended, humanity.
