Okay but Varré having a garden in his home (he probs had one somewhere) has been on my mind for two days now. Maybe as an omen of future he did find bloodroses and began to study and grow them, find first attempts failure, then discover they live off blood. Fascinating! (He even later has the rose mace so what if he is a plant guy)

Handsome red head champions - Okay but seriously, not even a joke. She is drawn to strong willed and determined ones. I think that'd be a personality opposite to her.

She is water... calm and still, satisfied with what she gained with little effort, not searching greatness beyond what she has. She is ready to settle and merely protect what she has gained - fiercely so, but that is it.

And these types are like fire: set an ambition, work hard for it... until reaching greatness. A reason she'd gravitate interest towards even Queen Marika later, in level of interest at least...

I think deep down she just wants someone ready to take power by her side. She had been sole ruler to a point of exhaustion - and she knows she isn't the best when it comes to strategy in conflict situations and often follows her heart for decision making. She needs some challenge lol.
