what do you think spencer’s reading habits are? he canonically has a reading speed of 20,000 WPM, which obviously means he can tear through books quickly. do you think he rereads things over and over again, or do you think he’s constantly reading stuff from newer authors? my latest cm headcanon is that spencer visits maeve’s grave on a regular basis. he has a little picnic and brings his favorite books to read to her. he’s brought his mom occasionally, maybe max one time if she asks. penelope definitely made him bring her when she found out, something about wanting to know all of the gossip, even from the grave. i just feel like she never truly left his life.

15x6 is an absolute masterpiece. i’ll be honest, the past few seasons of criminal minds haven’t had a lot of standout episodes for me, but this was just amazing.

i went into it expecting a fun episode with cat and reid antics, but it was so so much more than that. cat lying about spencer causing a miscarriage? max making up the abusive boyfriend story?? GENIUS. i was not expecting to have my heart broken like that.

and no one will believe this, but i kind of called it… or at least i was really hoping max was lying because i wanted her and spencer to work out. the relief i felt when spencer entered the bullpen and she turned around and said “we have a lot to talk about.” ???? INSANITY.

and their kiss at the end… it was such a gorgeous contrast to the heated kiss cat and spencer shared earlier, and i’m so glad for that. like she says in the beginning, they’re taking it slow, there’s no need to rush. i know people tend to find her boring but i think she and spencer are such a great pair (plus the actors have great chemistry).

anyway, all of this to say that i throughly enjoyed the episode and im so so glad that season 15 hasn’t been as bad as 14.
