You know what pisses me off even more?

There are actual people who are commenting on TBL social media accounts and saying that they're glad Liz/Megan will be leaving, that they're only here for Red/James, that the show will be better without her-

Um? Have we been watching the same show?

Liz and Red are the two parts of the equation that makes TBL... TBL.

It doesn't work with just one of them.

None of these moments would have been possible without her.

I've just seen 8x22 promo pictures... and now I've got a vaguely bad feeling and I don't like it at all. I mean, somehow, 'disturbing' in my mind applies now not only to Liz's attitude about Red's mysterious request but also to my general feeling about the season finale... Have I mentioned I don't like it? Because I don't.

Ugh... I know, anon 😥 They're certainly not... very cheery, are they? I think the word choice of "disturbing" has haunted us all since the moment they released it. But I think you're right, the word has come to describe the atmosphere, the as-yet unknown events, & our feelings about the episode itself, which I intensely hate. This should be a happier - if bittersweet & melancholy - episode, wrapping up Megan's time & Liz's arc (not that I believe there IS one bc the show IS Liz's arc *muffled screaming*) & we should be looking forward to a semi-sweet ending, a culmination of 8 seasons of drama & angst, counting on some sweet moments between our 2 leads. Buttttttttttt no. They've effectively ruined any hopes of that, whether it comes to pass or not & the fact that we feel we can't even hope for it & instead are dreading whatever they have planned, speaks volumes. Then again, while we have been trained to expect the worst, still pictures like that don't tell us a lot. There's a chance the events & emotions shown there are from the beginning of the episode, with the beautiful reconciliation of the park scene at the end. We just don't know 😭 But I know how you feel, anon. This is not how the season (or series, depending on your POV) finale should feel!! It's a shame... But thank you for commiserating with me, it helps me work through things as well!! Hang in there & much love to you, anon!! ❤️
