INDEFINITE HIATUS

I’m officially moving from a semi-hiatus to a full indefinite one. I feel very badly about all of my blogs, my writing, how I am as a person on here. I’m not having a lot of fun anymore, as it’s gotten stressful and all I ever feel is bad, in one way or another, when I come on. I can’t pinpoint it, what it is exactly, but I just can’t be here right now. I just want to be good for you guys, and be here consistently and not sporadically like I have been. I want to bring positive things to the dash, and not the negativity I’ve been bringing lately. I’ll be back at some point, I promise. Just, not right now.

All of my blogs will be on hiatus for the time being: bbcmycroft, bbcmary, vtrevor, abhordull. It’s unlikely I’ll bring them off all at once.

I might check messages every now and again, but chances are I’m not going to. I will also still write outside of Tumblr, things that I can kind of keep going on the fly but don’t have to put all of my immediate focus and energy into. Molly feels his eyes on her and she’s suddenly very interested in a piece of lint on the sleeve of her jumper. She just can’t bear to see the pity she is sure is in his eyes. Poor lovelorn Molly Hooper.

When he finally speaks it’s not exactly what she was expecting him to say.

“No, I know,” she says with a faint shrug before she does look up at him. “You didn’t have to. I know that’s not really…your area. Which is fine. Really.”

She gives him a small, understanding smile that fades quickly.

“I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m saying, Molly.” His voice is patient, slowly letting the words properly sink into the other’s mind. He’s not sure he even fully understands what he’s saying, as he’s not fully understanding the emotion that he’s feeling for the woman before him.

Why was Sherlock so adamant about helping Mary with the wedding? It helped him cope with it, helped him get closer to Mary, be better friends with her. Also because John was hardly doing a thing and anything he contributed ended up being all wrong anyway. “Much better.” He goes to take another sip of his wine but he finds it out. He gives a near pout towards the empty glass before looking back to the arrangement in question. “I think it ties in really well. Better than the other one. And to think John wanted blue flowers.”

He knows this isn’t going to be easy, knows she won’t come to him. He has to go to her, show her that he cares about her, wants to continue doing so. He hasn’t known her long, and she tried to kill him and the people he cares for, put him through horrific things. But she’s family, and that means something.

Sherlock waits another minute before stepping closer, slowly closing the distance between them. “I am here,” he repeats. “I wasn’t here before. How could I be?” She didn’t exist to him. “But I’m here now. Believe me.”

“Obviously we have to use you as bait,” Sherlock says without hesitation, fingers taking the phone from the woman. He reads through the file, silent for a few moments as he skims through it. “He’s in England now - believed to be. Which is why you’re here. You already have a plan and need me to help you carry it out. I will.”

“It’s not your fault that you don’t…feel how I do. We can only be who we are and want what we want. I…well…it’s not like I’ve lost anything.”

She never had him to begin with, so nothing’s changed except now he knows.

Sherlock is quiet for a few minutes, too long for what they’re talking about. He doesn’t take his eyes off Molly, taking in her words, letting them go through his mind as he thinks about them, thinks about his own feelings. “I never said I didn’t feel the same,” he settles on without him even meaning to speak quite yet.
