hi can you do a story about when levi and the twins and you meet mikasa and the other scouts their interactions etc (like post rumbling but levi not in a wheelchair) that would be rly cool thx!
The 104th cadet members meet Levi's twins!
A/n: It was really refreshing to write! But instead of the post rumbling arc, I decided to do the post shiganshina arc instead, where Eren, Sasha, Hange are alive!
"I'm just excited!" Connie snaps back. "Captain Levi's kids! Do you know how insane that is?"
Eren scoffs. "What's insane is imagining Captain Levi as an affectionate father."
"Oi."
The single syllable freezes the entire courtyard.
Levi stands at the entrance, arms crossed, eyes sharp as ever. He looks... exactly the same. Same intimidating posture. Same death glare.
Except—
There's a small boy clinging to his leg.
And a little girl on the opposite side, fingers gripping his pinky finger like it's the most important thing in the world.
The courtyard goes dead silent.
"...Holy shit," Eren whispers.
Sasha stops munching her potato and gasps dramatically. "T-They're tiny."
The boy peeks out first.
Jet-black hair. Steel-grey eyes. Levi's face copy-pasted onto a four-year-old—except when the kid grins.
And when he grins, it's like Levi is smiling for the first time in his life.
Everyone collectively loses their minds.
"Oh my god," Historia breathes. "He looks exactly like the Captain."
Jean squints. "Why does it feel illegal to see Captain smiling?"
The boy suddenly lets go of Levi's leg and waves enthusiastically.
"Hi!!!"
Levi sighs. "...Told you not to move without my permission."
"It's ok, dad!" the boy says proudly. "I wanna play with them."
But then, Levi's girl whimpers.
"No—no—no—" Levi crouches instantly, voice dropping. "Hey. You're fine. I'm right here."
She buries her face into his shoulder, sniffling.
Eren gasps.
"Holy shi-"
Mikasa steps forward, pushing Eren to the side before he says something stupid. "Captain? Is she okay?"
"She's overwhelmed," Levi answers flatly, rubbing her back with practiced ease. "Too many people."
Historia's eyes soften immediately.
"Oh," she says quietly. "Poor thing..."
The girl peeks out again— big eyes, your eyes— already glossy with tears.
Historia kneels without hesitation. "It's alright," she says softly, smiling. "You don't have to be scared."
The girl stares at her.
Then— slowly— reaches out and grabs Historia's finger.
Levi watches closely.
"She likes you," he says softly.
Historia smiles like she's been blessed by the universe.
"I'm honored."
The boy, meanwhile, has already escaped Levi's eyesight again.
He walks straight up to Eren.
"You're tall," he declares.
Eren blinks. "Uh—thanks?"
He then looks at Jean.
"You're taller."
Jean snorts proudly.
Eren sputters. "HEY—!"
Everyone laughs. A bright, unrestrained laugh.
And Levi—
Levi's expression softens so much it's almost too beautiful to watch.
"...He's smiling," Connie whispers. "Captain Levi is actually smiling.'
"Don't say it out loud," Jean hisses. "You'll break the illusion."
And then....
Hange suddenly appears from nowhere.
"LEVI—"
"No."
Levi says it instantly. Firm. Absolute.
Hange freezes mid-step. "No?"
"You're not touching them."
"But—!"
"No."
Hange pouts. "That's discrimination."
The boy turns his head.
"Woah," he says, eyes lighting up. "You look cool."
Hange's eyes sparkle. "YOU think I look cool?!"
Levi just sighs. His boy loves to do the opposite of what tells him to do.
And just to prove that point again the boy walks straight up to Hange.
"What's that thing?" he asks, pointing at her goggles.
"These?" Hange kneels instantly. "They help me see Titans better."
"That's AWESOME."
Levi glares. "I knew this would happen."
Hange laughs, delighted. "Come on, Levi, your son has excellent taste."
"Don't pick him up," Levi warns.
Hange raises her hands innocently. "I won't! I swear!"
The boy reaches up on his own.
"Up?"
Levi glares at Hange like he's deciding whether murdering Hange is justified or not.
"Five seconds," he mutters. "Then put him down."
Hange gasps dramatically. "I'm honored."
Meanwhile, the girl is now sitting beside Armin.
She's quiet. Still clingy. But she inches closer when Armin speaks softly.
"I like books," Armin tells her gently. "Do you like stories?"
She nods.
"...Yes."
Her voice is tiny.
Armin smiles gently. "Then we'll get along."
She leans against him.
Levi notices immediately.
"She likes you too."
Armin smiles nervously. "I— I'll read her as many stories as she wants."
Jean mutters, "Why does everyone become emotional idiots around his kids?"
Sasha kneels in front of the boy as soon as Hange sets him down.
"Do you like food?" she asks eagerly.
His eyes light up.
"Yes!"
Sasha gasps. "We're soulmates."
Levi just sighs again.
The boy spins around, taking everything in.
"Dad," he says suddenly.
Levi looks down. "What now, brat?"
"Are these your friends?"
"...Yeah."
The boy grins. "They're nice."
The girl tugs Levi's sleeve.
"...Papa."
Levi kneels instantly again. "What is it?"
She whispers, "Can we stay a little?"
Levi exhales slowly.
"Yeah," he says quietly. "We can stay."
Everyone watches.
The strongest soldier humanity has ever known— kneeling between his children, one smiling like the sun, the other clinging like she might break— looking more human than they've ever seen him.
So Mikasa finally decides to speak.
"...Captain?"
Levi looks up. "What."
"You're... a good dad."
Levi blinks.
"Tch."
He looks away.
"I try."
And for the first time—
The Survey Corps realizes that Levi Ackerman didn't just survive hell.
Absolutely canon-coded Levi behavior. Levi 100% memorizes every shortcut in every district he's ever been in.
Like—this man could navigate the underground with his eyes closed, upside down, mid-fight.
But I think he just didn't trust maps, especially in his underground era. He probably thought, "Maps lie. People lie. But his memory doesn't."
And that habit still stays. So whenever he walks a new route, boom— it's permanently downloaded into his brain like a damn GPS.
So when others take 20 minutes to reach HQ, Levi shows up in 7 minutes using some alley no one else has ever seen.
Hange: How did you get here so fast?
Levi: Shortcut.
Hange: THAT WALL HAS NO DOOR—
If you're on a date with him, he'll silently pull you by the wrist, turn a corner, drop into a side road and suddenly you're in a completely different district like how the hell did we get here??
Random question, What was the first thing that made you live the character Levi? (Dont say his look)
Tbh, I didn't like Levi at first. To me it felt like he was very cold and egoistic, so I was neutral about him, until season 3.
When I saw his backstory and understood his character much better, it was respect at first. There is no specific scene that made me fall in love with him immediately. But when I knew how hard his life was and watched "No Regrets" ova, I realised he's a really unique character with a traumatic childhood. Even after losing everyone he loved, he's still fighting to make this world a better place just so other people can live happily and don't lose anyone they love. And his compassion for his comrades, his silent pain, they really touched my heart. I started to respect him even more and at one point that respect turned into love. I don't even remember when, because it was a slow burn romance (lol)
But yeah, it was never his face. Mainly, I fell for him after watching season 3 and "no regrets" ova, which made me understand his character and respect him to infinity!
What if Levi had two babies one is always happy and one is always sad😭 (saw this one babysitter anime few years back and thought of this)
Imagine Levi has twins— a boy and a girl. One's a sunshine baby, the other's a permanent little cloud.
He never expected to be a father of two, much less to have two completely different emotional storms in one house. So he'll constantly ask himself if it's normal for babies to have that much personality already.
The Happy Baby
Always giggling, always drooling — this one laughs at literally anything. Levi sneezes, baby laughs. Levi frowns, baby laughs harder. Levi secretly adores it. He never admits it, but he's caught smiling softly while wiping the baby's mouth with a tiny cloth.
This baby's favorite spot is on Levi's chest, where they can tug on his cravat or touch his face.
Every morning starts with baby babbling in delight until Levi picks them up.
When Levi trains or cleans, this one tries to crawl after him, arms up like 'Pick me too!"
Their laugh is infectious— even the sad twin will occasionally smile when they hear it.
The Sad Baby
This one is always pouting, always looks like they just finished crying even if they haven't cried. Levi is soft with this one. He talks in the quietest tone, even more gentle than usual.
He carries them in his arm while working — "Tch. You'll stop crying if you watch how to fold laundry properly, ok?" They cling to his shirt like a lifeline. Levi doesn't even mind; he adjusts his movements so he doesn't jostle them.
When they start crying for no reason, Levi doesn't shush them right away— he just holds them tighter, whispering, "Dad's here, no need to get scared." Sometimes he'll hum quietly while patting their back and the sad baby's breathing steadies instantly.
Interaction between the two
Happy baby tries to cheer sad baby up by patting their face or offering a toy— usually ends with both crying because it got snatched away. Levi's patience is legendary during these moments. One on each arm, both screaming— and he just sighs, "You two better grow up to be less loud than this."
But secretly, he's proud. Two completely different souls, both his.
Sometimes the sad baby will only calm down when the happy baby is around. Levi notices and always places them side by side before naptime.
He jokes dryly sometimes (only to you), "One's like you, one's like me. Guess you can tell which one's which."
Levi bathing both babies is the cutest chaos: the happy one splashes water everywhere while the sad one clings to Levi's arm like they're in a thunderstorm. He dries them both with identical soft towels, muttering, "You two better not grow up messy. Your dad hates mess"
When they sleep — one smiling, one frowning — Levi sits there for a while, quietly brushing their hair out of their faces.
You once asked him which one he loves more. He gave you that Levi stare and said, "Don't ask something stupid. They're both mine. That's enough."
Y/N: It was destiny bringing us together 🥰 What a coincidence finally made us meet and fall for each other.
Levi, who worked his ass off to get her to notice him, had been crushing on her for months, went way out of his comfort zone just to get her attention, mustering all the willpower he had:
“Yeah… Chance.”
You're crouched behind a table in the barracks, half-covered in flour, holding a mixing bowl like it's a shield. Across from you stands Levi, arms crossed, lips pressed in a straight line. He looks like he's deciding whether to kill you or clean the mess first.
Your fingers are still sticky with cake batter. The kitchen? A battlefield. The cake? Dead. Levi? Pissed.
He exhales sharply through his nose. "Did the cake insult you, or do you always fight your baking tools?"
You blink. "I just… I thought I'd surprise Hange with a birthday cake."
"You surprised me instead," he mutters, stepping over a broken egg. "Did the recipe ask you to challenge physics?"
You try to smile. "I may have… underestimated how much flour expands when you drop the bag."
Levi looks at you with disbelief. "You dropped the whole bag?"
"More like… it fell. From the top shelf. Because I was climbing the counter. Because the stool broke."
He stares at you like you've committed treason. "You climbed the counter. Without support. On a broken stool. With a bag of flour."
You nod slowly. "See? When you say it like that, it sounds worse."
"It is worse."
You want to melt into the floor. "I'll clean it."
"No,," he says immediately, pulling a rag from nowhere like some sort of domestic assassin. "If you touch anything else, you might blow up the barracks."
You don't miss the way he glances at the splattered ceiling like it's a crime scene.
But instead of snapping, he just sighs and starts wiping batter off the wall. You're shocked. Isn't this where Levi usually starts yelling?
"I was trying to do something nice," you say softly, kneeling to help him.
He looks at you sideways. "Nice is fine. Chaos is not."
You try to hand him a clean rag. "You know, for someone who's so scary, you're surprisingly good at domestic stuff."
His brow twitches. "That's not a compliment."
"It kinda is," you smirk.
"You're strange," he mutters. "You talk to me like I'm normal. Like I don't have the permission to make you run laps whenever I want."
You blink, ignoring the running laps part. "You are normal."
"No, I'm not," he says. "I have to tell people how to wipe properly."
"…Fair." Levi doesn't talk anymore, just goes back to scrubbing the floor. So you keep talking, your voice light. "You always act like you're annoyed by me."
"I am annoyed by you."
You grin. "But you're helping me clean."
He pauses. "I hate messes more than I hate you."
You laugh so hard you almost fall again. "So I'm slightly above grime in your ranking?"
"Don't flatter yourself, brat. You're on par with mold."
You place a hand on your heart dramatically. "I'm touched, captain."
He turns away, but you swear his lips twitches. Later, when the mess is finally gone and the smell of burnt cake still lingers in the air like shame, you find yourself lingering beside him. The silence is comfortable now. It surprises you how easy it is to be with him, even when you're doing something so mundane. Even when he's grumbling. Even when he's wiping flour off your cheek like he doesn't realize how soft his touch is.
"I'll teach you how to make tea next time," he says suddenly. "Start small. Before you set fire to something again."
You smile widely. "That sounds suspiciously like a date."
He stiffens. "Keep dreaming, brat."
You lie, whispering, "You're blushing, captain."
"I'm not."
You grin widens. "You so are."
He scowls and turns away. "You're so annoying."
And somehow, you like hearing that from him. Because it doesn't sound like an insult anymore. It sounds like affection in disguise.
