I swear that I am so oversentimental it's killing me. What do you mean it's 5am and you're SAD because a game reminded you of someone you don't like and you're SAD you can't recommend it to them EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T EVEN LIKE THEM????

I feel like an idiot... most people are sad when people who treated them bad do well in life? WHY AM I HAPPY?? Why do I feel happy for them. There's literally this couple and one of them said That I would never get a spring internship (I got 2) and they did a photoshoot and it was ADORABLE and it was CUTE and I was like awwwww ^_^

Until I remembered... I'm not meant to like these people!

I'm meant to be like ugh- ugly couple- but they aren't an ugly couple though...

I've learned that maybe being a hater just isn't for me. Like I'm not even good at it. I just mentally file stuff and try to move on. I'm like - you suck, but also you deserve a good life, most people do. Maybe if you were happy and complete and learned the meaning of love it would make you suck less.

So! As someone who is part of a niche random, here is my contribution to said fandom

Canon! things about characters in Methods that you (may have) forgotten about

-772 mentions that he has a neurologist (whether he's joking or not is a different question)

-Ashdown and Roel have deviated from conversation about a crime scene to talk about how attractive Idris Elba is

-Nell buys clothes in bulk from the supermarket

-Indigo and Kane hate each other after whatever happened in the Russian competition, with Kane lording it over that she won every five seconds

-Slakes developed Sekals after bumping his head against a doorframe more than 20 years prior to the events of the game

-When in the UK detective competition, Mastermind King lost to a then ten or eleven year old boy detective, and is never seen being bitter or mad about it

-When Nell and Roel first met, Roel mentioned that she sounded attractive, only for Slakes and 772 to affirm that neither of them noticed Nell's looks

-Famous people-person Roel then called Nell 'super ugly'

-Detective Coles and Detective Caprice are siblings!

-Red July has an almost hilarious disdain for 772, calling him 'cheap and common' (😭), and referring to him as the clown, seeing it as a natural step that he would sacrifice himself for her.

-(SPOILERS FOR THE ILLUSION MURDERS) A younger detective Red July got doxxed, because, immediately after telling everyone that she cared for no one, she bought a drink for and called up a pretty girl she had met on the subway...

-Sekals spills the tea of the detective side to the criminal side as often as he can

-Ashdown expressed disappointment that he put himself in the 'friendzone' (a man in his forties saying this, by the way...) towards Tronen, and then said that it was fine since she was going anyway. Take that as you will

Can everyone who reads this PLEASE reblog it?!?!?  Libraries literally saved my life as a child!

Being abused at home, bullied at school and lost in the world, the library and all the books I could escape to the most amazing worlds, kept me alive!

I would walk to the library, and spend all day, from 10 am to 9 pm reading there!! I got special awards for how many books I read, I wrote little blurbs on why i loved the books (probably why I love to BETA and do ARCs) 

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Just hit the green arrows and the reblog!!!

As a 50 year old woman, the library offers me so much. Digital art pads to borrow, 3D printing, book clubs that are face to face (yeah, the introvert likes face to face because a moderator will stomp on anyone getting snarky)

New books in LARGE PRINT! I’m visually challenged and as much as I love my kindle, The feel of a real book in my hands will always be a beloved feeling!

Our library also has quarterly books sales of almost free books!! For 5$USD we get in a day early and can buy as many as we want. Anyone else has to wait and there is a limit for the first 2 days.

Also many, many libraries have inter library loan(it may be called something different). This means if they don’t have the item you want, they can get it for you. This may include photocopy/pdf of articles. This can also include along with books and DVDs, microfilm/fiche which is also a huge resource. Check around for libraries that are listed as depositories if you want to look at government documents.

Remember that many colleges and universities have open stacks for the public. You will likely have to pay a membership fee but you will get to stuff.

The library was one of my favorite places to go as a kid and I still live to go and just. Sit and read. Or do homework. The university I’m at has a massive 8-story one I love to just wonder around in~ Great places

Libraries are amazing places, we need to protect them to ensure their continued existence.

I used to wander about the fiction section in my local library, and choose books with the most interesting titles - I discovered two amazing authors that way

If you feel disconnected from your local community & want to find ways to get involved, seriously consider spending some time at the library. Go to some events! Organize a reading group!

Just adding: I don’t mind visiting small libraries (to speak, to sign, whatever) whether they pay me or not. Also: I’ve never had a bookstore pay me for a signing, so don’t know where that’s coming from…

Anyway: Libraries matter. Please use them.

Also if I were writing a slightly modernised version of Twelfth Night, I would 100% have Orsino tell Cesario to go to Olivia's court and sing 'Olivia' by One Direction outside until they let Cesario in

I'm currently writing about Twelfth Night for a paper and... man... I love Olivia so much she's so real. No wonder she feels like she should shut the door on everyone when the people who want to marry her only do because of selfish reasons!!!

She's mourning her brother and father and yet she's constantly got Orsino knocking on her door and Sir Andrew knocking and probably various others knocking because they want her money or her status or her looks or all of it. Even her trusted servant Malvolio would go after all of that if he could, and after the letter he does :(

She's in self-imposed isolation, but even if she wasn't in that state, she would most likely still be isolated due to the transactional nature of a lot of the relationships people would want with her. No wonder that as soon as she found a 'man' who didn't fixate on her, treated her like a person and was sweet and funny, she fell for 'him' and begged for marriage. 'He' was a revelation in her life!

But then 'he' wasn't interested and couldn't give her the love that she wished for :(

She's also just dramatic and funny and kind. She doesn't mind Sir Toby and the gang being in her house and court and lets them have their little karaoke parties and graciously hosts them! She shows love and support to her remaining family!! She also manages the court alone after both of her male relatives died. She doesn't let Malvolio's meanness or grumpiness affect her or let it change her opinions about her servants in the court, and I find that to be so sweet.

In conclusion, we stan Olivia

Im gonna be honest, I only want four more Knives Out films. Specifically so we can get three more girls to become a five man band and the last movie is where Blanc gets framed for murder and Marta, Helen, and the three other girls team up to save their gay best friend with their own special skills like a god damn scooby doo episode.

Marta looking up and checking medical records, Helen doing business stuff. One of the girls was a biology student or gardener and looks through plant species for kinds of poisons. One of them works at a theater and does stupid disguises. One of the girls has a movie where Blanc helps her fuck over the expensive medical companies and finally gets a service dog who helps her find clues in this film.

All the while we cut back to Benny Blanc who's crying about being bored because they are hiding him in an apartment but he is proud of his girls for saving his ass, hyping them up the whole time.

I know this will never happen but a stupid nonbinary bitch can dream...

*edit* Helen isn't doing business shit, she is beating up bad guys like the bad bitch she is
