Denzel Washington in Malcolm X
Stoked itâs on Netflix finally. His mannerisms are great, and his portrait of Malcolm is beyond compare - my favorite performance of his.
My face when I see the shots that require revisions.
Seriously though, closing in on finishing animation. Only a few shots left. Then Itâll just be small revisions and editting!

Lt. Harry Pennell
Officially the shipâs navigator, Pennell is interested in everything, learns quickly, and lends a hand in every capacity. He finds happiness in work, and works all but the four hours a day he cedes to sleep, so being âhappy as the day is longâ he is very happy indeed.
I only got to know Pennell very recently, as he stayed with the ship instead of landing in Antarctica and therefore gets left out of most published accounts, aside from people praising him in passing. Having now read a fistful of his witty and observant letters, he is now one of my favourites, and I can see why everyone loved him so much. I canât change history to have him around more in my adaptation, but darn it, youâre going to remember who he is.
Saturday, May 4th is Free Comic Book Day, and I will be sharing the prologue to my graphic novel about the Terra Nova Expedition then. Â In the run-up to that, I am introducing you to some of the main characters â a new one every day until then!Â
The older I get, the more I think about how just having our parents by our side can often turn a public space into a warm and safe bubble. Dozing off on a train for instance.

There was a man who could work his toned printing!
I love the one of the hut and men in the blizzard especially because it looks like a Wilson painting.
Some of these are new to me, so thanks @mific!
