A character for a story that’s been brewing in my head for a while!

Here is the second and last piece I did for the Art Show at work. This one is called “Fireworks”, a tribute to my mom who saved me many times from the clutches of my oldest brother😙. The framed painting of the Peony on the wall is an allusion to the Chinese saying “屁股开花/The Blossoming Butt”, which is a household punishment used by many Chinese parents on their kids for misbehaving😐
