Long overdue update
Hey everyone, to all of my 50+ loyal followers, I want to start off by apologizing about leaving you guys in the dark about my mission. I got my call about a month ago and I’m serving in Utah Ogden Mission! I cannot perfectly describe how grateful I am for the privilege of representing the Savior, words cannot accurately detail the amount of joy I feel for this call. I’ve gotten most of my things together for my mission. I report December 7th. I report to the mission on December 27th 2016 and return on December 11th 2018.
I gave my farewell on my birthday (November 27th) and my immediate family, who are not members of the church came to hear me speak. It was hard for me to hold back tears as looked directly at members of my family and testified that families can be together forever. I love them.
For all of my personal afflictions, erroneous flaws, and constant mistakes. I feel the Lord’s hand showing me the way to Him, that I like many others, can draw closer to Him and Heavenly Father. I hope that I am competent enough to share the gospel with those around me and that I can speak with confidence and faith. I love the Savior, I love His Gospel. I’m grateful for the blessings and opportunities to make covenants in the temple, and considering all of this, I’m forever grateful for his continuous mercy, tenderness, and patience in conjunction with my capacity to repent.
I hope all of you who read this post, can find it in your hearts to really think about who Jesus Christ is to you and to seriously think about that in your mind and hearts. God Bless all of you.
There are many cures for a broken heart, but nothing quite like a trout’s leap in the moonlight.

“[Nancy’s wardrobe] has a really sweet, feminine edge to it. It’s not the crazy ‘80s fashion. It feels a little more real. One thing I love about 80s fashion is everything is high waisted, which is really comforting and flattering. All of the colors and the textures and the care that seemed to go into that attire. A lot of fun, a lot of whimsy. Another thing that’s really nice from the 80s was the terry cloth clothing. Its very soft and just comfy. So if we could get that started again I’d be down!” (x)
