Like the cutie mark is pretty cute when I was searching for some ponies on Etsy....(been collecting G3 toys...have about 19.)
Now I want to introduce a character of mine, but first I need to explain a bit about my AU that takes place shortly after G4's last episode. A powerful unicorn that was adopted by Twilight and was the top student in the magic school. However, something made that unicorn into a living nightmare. They tried using the elements on her to turn her into good again, but it didn't work. The main 6 decided to cast a spell that would trap her, but the spell also trapped themselves. 10 years later, Equestria moved on, and Ponyville changed quite a bit over the years. It only took 10 years till the spell failed to keep the nightmare from harming any pony. 6 new ponies came to confront her to stop her. (I'm still figuring out of whats going to happen at the end).
6 new ponies are my characters, that went through many designs and name changes till I was happy with my work. One of those ponies that I'll be showing is one of the new 6, Ginger Snap, a character that's loyal to the core. Her mom was gonna name her Carmal Apple, but felt that wasn't a name for her, as her mother craved ginger snaps.
I was gonna name her Ginger Spice because she is a spicy character, tends to run sale ponies off the farm.....reckless and fearless. Doesn't like girly stuff or looking weak because she was bullied when she was little. She had a longer mane due to many times of messing with her mane it became this short hairstyle. Despite her flaws, Ginger Snap is a hard-working pony that's strong, fast, loyal, and sympathetic (at times).
I did a lot of rendering, especially on her mane, because I'm also practicing my rendering skills. Her mane is red, and at the end of her tail has a hint of yellow ombre. What's a reckless pony without a scar, so that's been added and wears with pride.
