CIRCUS AU LORE/HEADCANONS
This kinda took a long time to think about, but I think it'd probably work out
C.I.R.C.U.S stands for Central Institute for Rogues and Cunning Undertakings
They're technically VILE but circus themed, however, they uhh focus more on stealing them for performance and unlike VILE they want the whole world to know them
CIRCUS' faculty (or Ringmasters as they call them) only has four members, however there's a higher-up than faculty
They're more old-fashioned than VILE, and doesn't have all that science-y stuff/equipment, if someone gets caught, the faculty have trial whether to lock them in a secret dungeon or just kill them
Faculty in CIRCUS is probably more ruthless than VILE's
They do everything from stealing, to drugs, to assassination (not often)
Although they might be ruthless, of course we need comedy, they're silly sometimes and they're a circus, of course we're supposed to make fun of them
Despite saying they want to be known to the world, this only happens after VILE gets arrested
Despite being publicly known, I don't know why ACME still hasn't found them yet 😭
Although it's circus themed, not all are like circus-y looking, because they also focus on the "artistic/performance" side
They treat everything like it's a performance and think the world is just a stage
Do they care of their operatives/performers? Probably, some of them do, some of them couldn't care less
The founder of CIRCUS was once a VILE student, and is actually a student during the times where VILE faculty were also students
He graduated, but he and the others (past faculty) f-ed up on a mission because of the others and they blamed it on him
During that time probably there was no brain wiping doohickey (quote from coach brunt) sooo they were tasked to kill him
Anyways he wanted revenge on VILE and stared CIRCUS, and he became the manager (the rank higher than ringmasters)
He found other people who weren't accepted by VILE (for idk what reasons) and they became the first faculty
Years later his daughter took over (the oc I'll share after this post)
