scars in my deathbed
Edna St. Vincent Millay, from a poem titled "Interim," featured in The Complete Poems of Edna St. Vincent Millay
“The Way It First Felt” is a story about experiencing love for the very first time — when emotions feel unfamiliar and almost confusing.
It follows someone slowly falling for a classmate, unable to tell whether what they feel is excitement, nervousness, or something deeper. Their heart races for no reason, thoughts spiral, and even the smallest moments begin to feel impossible to ignore.
As the feelings grow, reality and imagination start to blur — every smile, every glance, every moment feels amplified. It becomes less about understanding love, and more about being inside it without realizing.
In the end, he finally realizes… he has been in love all along.
“The Way It First Felt” is out now.

Unfortunately, i hate myself
i eat my grief up like a lonely, starving whore — full, drunk, and bloated on its bones and spit, will walking to the edges of the earth help me shed pounds of it?

someone tell me what it’s like
Self - listen up!!
“Sometimes the hardest battle is convincing your own mind that you’re safe.”
i thought he have burned- old journals a long time ago,
but i stood still, watching him bleed from pages of his burnt journals, crying from a thousand paper cuts. in silence: i watch as his holler echoes through a narrowing path, a path i saw in the slits on his skin, where beacon can no longer reach its depth.
i cough as he light his cigarette- in the stillness of pitch darkness, and it was the only light i could see- fleeting like a firefly.
and i notice myself fading, with scars in my deathbed, nothing is left but the butt of my fleeting lit cigarette-
enough to burn my journals to ashes and i holler in agony as i burn to ashes with it.
People draw because no one sees them, and people write because no one listens to them.

Fuck! I woke up and still alive
and i have died many times; like trees who’s leaves have fallen in the first frost of fall. i fought through storms that flooded my roots where i drowned in desolation.
but how unfortunate it is for me to have still grow flowers in spring, like how sunrise ascends from the ocean- to have a soul who continually flourishes through seasons- through the deaths, through the killings, and through grousing falls.
although my roots are clutched tightly to my ground, how fortunate it is to me that each time, its clutch weakens its grip in each passing seasons.
and you will see a tree that have survived different frostings of fall,
is left with only trunks in the next rising of the spring.
they would always ask me why i avoid romantic relationship
and i just always say that i want to be alone,
but the truth is, it's cuz i don't feel that i deserve that kind of love, im too imperfect and broken and no one deserves to be with someone like me. They don't deserve to be hurt just cuz i need fixing. Im fucked up inside, and i just decided to handle it on my own.
