Nedcan comic I’ve been chipping away at for a while now, hc rant below!

I think that Matthew would have commitment issues and probably assumes that nothing is permanent (probably stems from daddy issues tbh). He has probably kept to himself most of his life but that changes when he starts a relationship with Willem. At first things may have been fine but Matthew starts to have this growing fear that if things don’t work out, he’d lose Willem forever. So he ends up deciding to play it safe and stay friends and keep him at arms length, ultimately missing out on something amazing rather than just taking the risk and going for it. They do get a happy ending though! Just not right now hehe.
