Had to take a step back after the newsletter and realize the absurdity of Deltarune, specifically the Mike’s, for a minute.

We’re watching a sentient, bright green d6 dice who’s simultaneously an in universe theorist and a direct representation of the fandom. He drinks battery acid. There’s a silhouette who’s a 1920’s mobster, plays jazz, speaks jazz, and wears a cat fursuit. He’s been named by the fandom after a minigame, which was then canonized, with that name having a non-zero chance of being a riff on an Australian kids show. There’s a bouncer with a New York accent who’s a TV remote who can low level alter reality. All three have alternate fake personas of the same exact person to convince their boss that that person is in fact still around, despite all looking completely different, and it works. They live in a fantasy school utility closet. The dice is canonically caked up.
