forseeing-exalt:
She hadn’t meant to make the boy anxious. She had just meant to see his intentions. It was honestly a gamble if he had wanted to kill her or not. She decided his intent was not murderous. When he brought up Falchion, Lucina managed a genuine smile. “As much as it would make sense for me to leave it at home, old habits die hard. I’ve had Falchion by my side for over 10 years. It’s nearly impossible for me to leave it behind.” She was genuinely intruiged by the boy’s interest in her sword.
She chuckled a bit when he mentioned its weight. “I’ve been wielding it for so long, I hadn’t really noticed the weight. Falchion is rather light for me. I do not know how it would feel for those it finds unworthy, however.”
He blinked, enamoured by the sword itself. 「Falchion? Oh! That must be the name of your blade. Though I guess I understand on why you carry it round, old habits tend to die the hardest, huh?」Oz laughed. 「I'd assume it would be a heavy weapon, even in general... but perhaps if you are used to it, that could be an entire story all together.」Perhaps it was a similar power in how the abilities they possessed made their weapons light, but Oz wasn't about to say that out loud.
「Worthy...?」he echoed, confused albeit even more intruiged. 「I am merely curious about your weapons tale... you see, I'm interested in other peoples weapons, from a mere academic standpoint at least! Would you mind telling me more about your sword over a cup of tea? No tricks, I'm not a fighter.」
