Long time no studyblr — I have an exam tomorrow and making studying at least aesthetically more pleasing actually helps once again so here I am
Homeoffice, sweet Homeoffice. I'm alive and flattening the curve, who else? I haven't effectively studied in forever because work has just been too much, but I'll have to start writing my paper soon. At least I've got the workplace for it now!
Back at revising! I take all the messy notes in my small notebook at uni, and then make prettier notes to actually study with at home.
My university wants me to study more than my major subject, so I have to visit a couple of courses outside my fields. I chose a lecture in political sciences here, because as a history student it's still good to have background about peace and war.
reblog this if you’re a university level studyblr
most of the ones i follow are high school level and i need more people my own age/education level!
So after some pondering about what to do, I decided to pursue my Master in History next to working in an antidiscrimination office. I hope I can continue learning new things and combine studying and working in a productive way. Tomorrow is the first day of my new first semester!
I bought this lesbian magazine issue because they're focusing on lesbian history! And I have a notebook for all the notes I'm going to take in university, one for organising my master's requirements, and my planner for everything. And there's tea, because tea is important during the dark season. Happy studying!
LGBT+ and Queer Studyblrs
I’d really like to follow more studyblrs like me but specifically I would really like to see more LGBTQIA+ studyblrs and Queer studyblrs! So if this is you please feel free to reblog and like this post and stay connected with me!
I'm on holidayyyy! And there were huge fireworks in my hometown on Friday, it was beautiful! Can't wait to see what the two weeks off work will bring. 😍
ALSOOOOOO have I blogged about that I’m going to interview a Holocaust survivor soon this year? She’s survived ghettos and deportations and wants her story included in my former, still ongoing project, so I’ll probably be the one to do the interviews! I’m so excited and nervous at the same time.
Do any of you have interesting questions you would like to ask a survivor? Can range from favourite books to ways of traveling and thoughts on xyz. I can’t make any promises, but I thought this can be an opportunity for more people than me, and there might be questions I’ve never thought about before burning on your minds!
The finished thesis and the reward!
I managed to hand in my thesis two weeks prior to the deadline. In the end, I was just glad to have the thing finished and to give it away. There's no way to take pretty photos when you're just sitting in front of a laptop, debating the placement of commas and footnotes for hours. 😂
Hi! I recently rediscovered my studyblr and now that I have a better idea of what I want to do with my life (planning to double major in history and media) I'm really happy to have found your blog! Good luck with your thesis :) Also do you have any recommendations for history blogs I should follow?
hi! i’m so glad that studyblr has helped! making this blog has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in this past year! (also I will need alllllll the luck I can get on my thesis lol so thank you)

I only saw this now, but you made me very happy with this post! Thank you!
I've been up to my throat in writing my thesis and it wasn't a very pretty process, but now that it's handed in, I hope I can get back to posting more about my work and study topics soon :)
I don't know how people take aesthetically pleasing photos in public places, no less a library.... Anyway, I'm writing my conclusion, then all that's left is rewriting the introduction and the first draft is finished!!
In an advanced state of thesis writing, you start making the coffee breaks before you start writing for the day. ☕
It's been really quiet on this account because thesis writing on a laptop just doesn't offer much of a photography subject. But here's some of my recent bujo spreads that I like!
I'm going to break my back carrying all these books back to the libraries after I'm done... but my word count is officially up to over 10.000! Not too much left until I can start editing and having people proof read 🙏
Let's be real here, everyone's desk gets this messy when you're working, right? Between working and writing my thesis, my desk has become a safe haven for clutter and chaos 🙃 Will I ever get back on top of this?
I'm basically being paid to do research so far and I'm loving it. Being paid for learning? The dream.
