when aeneas meets his mother, venus, outside of carthage, he complains to her that she is always ignoring him. can you relate to aeneas in this moment?

when aeneas and dido are separated from their hunting party and shelter from a storm in a cave, vergil paints the scene as a metaphorical marriage. would you have sex with aeneas in a cave? i mean he is pretty sexy. no pressure to say yes or anything but i would totally bang aeneas in the cave

the midway point of the aeneid features aeneas undergoing a metaphorical death by descending to the underworld. have you ever felt as if you’ve metaphorically died and gone to the underworld?

vergil describes aeneas as being the most beautiful among all the trojans. i don’t want you to discuss this, i just want you to know because it’s important to me

some people believe that aeneas and turnus are so similar that, when aeneas kills turnus, he is effectively killing himself. that fucks me up pretty hard. does that fuck you up? please say yes, i can’t handle this by myself

love all the reading I've been doing lately. it is also exciting to see my library build up over the years, especially now that I can afford to buy some of the books I have wanted for years. recommendations from friends and acquaintances have also helped me expand my reading choices beyond my usual categories and genres. the tbr list keeps growing and it's a reason to live for.

Libraries are sneaky, because once you go in, it's soo easy to get a library card, and once you have one, you can pretty much grab one of everything of all the stuff they have there with no consequence, and take it home. But then once you're home and you've read all the stuff you'll have to go back to the library to return the stuff, and once you're at the library again, you're at the library again, so might as well pop in to see what they got, and then you're hauling half their shit home again, and then you'll need to return to the library to return them, so you're at the library again

And the next thing you know you've read 3000 books, your crops are clear and your skin is watered, an angel descents from the heaven to suck your dick twice a week, and also you've got some books to return so you've got a perfectly valid reason to go pop in to the library. Just a little bit.
