It’s my birthday today! I’m (somehow) 21 and here are some life updates:
I’m going into the second year of my Psychology degree! I’ll be taking social, developmental & educational psychology modules~
I’m also starting a diploma in French! I’ve done casual classes before but this university diploma will actually have exams… I’m so nervous for them
I can’t believe it’s my third year posting this annual life update on my studyblr lol. I hope this academic year will be kind to us all :-)
these past few months, i've been reading so much more. it feels so good to be out of my months-long reading slump :)
✎ 10.20.2019 // two days of writing papers. four meals. three iced coffees. one gallon of water. fifteen references. sixteen pages of content. one overwhelmed n tired graduate student.

Yesterday I started a new online course about mental health and food 🧠 They mention so many interesting articles to read, and one of them is about antidepressant food 🍲
back to school stationery haul ??
15.03.22// another peaceful days of term paper edits and rereads :))
listening to: taeyeon, fire
4.1.22 April means the beginning of spring break, end of midterms, and an exciting announcement… my younger sister will be joining me at Cornell next fall!! Our family feels very lucky to have gone from immigrant grandparents, and only one college educated parent, to two daughters aiming for doctorates. She doesn’t have a tumblr, but look forward to posts featuring “LittleArchitectureStudies”!

Thesis diary #21
Back to working on my thesis. Today I kept working on the book Uccideró Vittorio Amedeo II by Massimo Centini. I am finally working on the transcrip of the archival sources. Having this book is super helpful, because since I don't have to decifer XVIII century's handwriting things are moving quite quickly. I managed to read and annotate a good fourty pages of this transcript, and I am hopeful that I will finish it by the end of the week. This source is not excatly on the main trial I will work on, but on the first one that atarted the witchcraft accusation wave. It's been really stimulating to read about this trial, as I am finding out more and more differences, as well as similarities, with the main trial I will write about. After finish with this I plan on doing a check up of the point my research is in and then I'll write to the professor.
Aside from this I continued reading Pet Sematary by Stephen King, and if I didn't have just a little over a hundred pages left I'll admit I would have dnf-ed it. It's painfully slow, and though I am curious with the story I am honestly so tired of how long it's taking for this to happen. I cannot wait to be done with it and move on something new. I also started listening to the audiobook of The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde. I wanted to draw and work on my bullet journal for a little bit, and I thought that this audiobook could be a nice thing to listen to while doing that. I have read this story in the past, and didn't like it at all. But I was pretty young at the time and I wanted to give it another chance.

i found some posts i saved up a while ago so i’ll post these until my A level exams are over :D i’m about half way through my exams now which are due to end in a few weeks!
small exam update: it’s been a pretty chill exam season so far *touch wood* as i have a lot of exams but they’re relatively spread out quite evenly. most of the time i have at least a day between 2 subjects so i can “shift” my brain into a different subject. my coping method: buckets of tea and chocolate biscuits.
needless to say, i’m looking forward to my summer holiday lol.
bit of a long caption but yeah thats my exam update :)
I got a pair of nike running shoes from my dad's colleague and it's the same pair that I wanted to buy years ago. What a coincidence
March 29, 2022 // Some pages from my first TN spread of the year. I went for a vintage explorer theme. You know, the eighteenth century explore vibe? I love that period. If I could go back in time that would be the period I would want to visit.
