in 2026 DO NOT ask yourself whether your art is GOOD
instead ask:
is it SINCERE
was it CATHARTIC
was it FUN TO MAKE
is it MADE BY ME
and don't forget to stay silly

ive been internalizing inferiority for so long that I thought the Philippines was smaller than it is in land size
my main character likes to ruin her life with french girls how idiotic
can the author of my favorite book ever just give me an unprintable PDF copy and I just pay her directly so I can read whenever I want digitally without being shackled by motherfucking Kindle
god's patch notes for me, January 2005, before public release
nerfed: physical atk, movement speed, crowd control
buffed: mental illness, intelligence

oh musicians and your blue haired girls
its was seriously upsetting to learn about "the white man's burden" rabbit hole of philippine representation. maybe yeah the colonial effects live on in my internalized inferiority complex 🤕
“Humans are inherently selfish--" Then why do so many cultures value hospitality, to the point of dictating it in their religions? Why is it so common for hosts to offer their visitors their best food, and as much of it as they can? At some point, multiple cultures decided that they knew what it felt like to be alone and vulnerable, and promised each other to never let those who stay with them feel that way. That doesn't sound very "inherently selfish" to me.
sometimes wholesomeness is needed around here
As a writer, I can guarantee we don't know what we want half of the time.
Some days we want people to obsess unhealthily and make fan art of our characters and make Pinterest pins on quotes and create those fake twitter posts and then at the same time I would rather burn my house down before showing anyone my work.
Who created such a mentally damaging hobby and can they give me my sanity back???
