i’m seeing a lot of people reblogging suicide hotlines and this is just a reminder that this is a suicide help line that works like a text-based instant messenger for people who may need to talk to someone but have trouble/are uncomfortable making phone calls
Never don’t reblog this. There are so many people who have such bad anxiety about phone calls. This can save so many lives
hard pill to swallow: there are some things that are not meant for you. you will meet people that are not willing to stay. there will be times that you will fail. but don’t be discouraged because alongside, you are meant to be something, you will meet people that will stay, and most importantly, you will get better.
Drink more water!
Remember to drink enough water! Water is an important role in our system and is responsible for all of our organs. Dehydration has been linked to a rise in cortisol level so when our body is dehydrated our brain and organ is more prone to stress and anxiety!
Drink yer water beech.
19/9/2020 | 6/100 Days of Productivity
So my uni has announced a weekend lockdown that will probably extend over the next week at least
hi everyone!
I’ve been gone for a while because to be honest, focusing at home is really hard. Please don’t feel bad if your productivity is not on the same level it normally is - this is an unusual situation. Stay safe and take care of your mental health.
some first week of class snapshots
09.06.20 | took the long weekend to escape, though i'm not sure what i'm escaping from. i've just been feeling so unsure of everything lately.
today was all nostalgia, though: a warm late-summer afternoon spent baking cinnamon rolls with friends! i didn't realize how much i had missed them until we were all in a room together again ♡
ft. some film and anthropology notes and a homemade cold brew coffee!
Studying English literature really is just you and your norton anthologies against the world sometimes
my safe place; should i do an apartment tour?🕊

i really want to get the crayola supertips (these are from the pack i had as a toddler! talk about being worth the cost, lol)
09.07.20 | i really liked these pens my friend had, but neither of us knew what brand they were since the label wasn't in english. as a surprise, last week he gave me one!! it writes like a dream, but i need better paper. (an excuse to buy a new notebook? no, no, i would never!!)
ft. some frantic thesis preparation notes

Hey y’all! Here are some cute notes that I’ve been taking for Italian!! I absolutely love learning the language so much and, since Italy is basically embedded into my heart, it doesn’t even feel like I’m studying it and instead it’s just this beautiful and heartfelt passion of mine that brings my heart so much joy. That being said, I’ve been learning it in different ways including online researches, turning Duolingo into my absolute best friend (I try to sneak in lots of practices whenever I’m not doing anything that requires focus like when I’m in bed, sitting outside in nature, chilling on the couch, and so on), using Quizlet fervently (it’s so good for on the go practices), books, music, movies and films, translating random phrases that comes to my head into these miniature colorful papers, and through talking with natives on HelloTalk and also with my two Italian friends!! I also changed the language on my phone into Italian and it’s so amazing because I get to learn new words and I’ve adjusted to it so quickly that it feels so natural now! It’s honestly such a fun and beautiful language to learn and, everyday that I get to wake up, I always feel so grateful that I get another chance to study it! After all, my Italian adventures are awaiting for me in the distant future. I hope y’all are having a lovely start of the week!! 🤍✨

listening to soft instrumental music after busy but well spend day feels very satisfying, wishing you and me more days like this
I really loved reading this book & how the story lines were intertwined 📖 also breakfast in bed has come way too much of a daily thing since summer break started ☕️
22-08-2020 | Studied in a library I hadn't been to before. It rained heavily for a while and the sound of the rain on the roof was so peaceful. Other than that it was rather noisy there, though, so I might invest in some noise-cancelling headphones.
